Amid the ongoing genocide of Hindus and rising anti-India rhetoric in Bangladesh, Indians have started to galvanise and protest against these Anti-Hindu, Anti-India activities in the neibouring country. Recently, the picture of Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology (BUET) went viral where the Indian flag was placed on the floor at the entrance with Bangladeshi students walking over the tricolor, insulting it. A few pictures are also circulating on social media in which school going kids are also seen insulting and trampling on the Indian as well as Israeli national flags.
Following the Hindu pogrom and the anti-India activities, the Boycott Bangladesh campaign has gained steam among Indians with Doctors and Hospitals announcing not to treat Bangladeshi patients.
The Bangladeshi Hindu genocide and Anti-India hate continues unabashedly under the US-backed Mohammed Yunus regime. In a string of anti-India hate campaigns, recently, some pictures of different Bangladeshi universities took over the internet where it could be seen, the students were stepping on the Indian national flag which had been deliberately placed at the entrances of these institutions.

The universities indulging in anti-India activities include Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology (BUET), Dhaka University (Ganit Bhavan), and Noakhali Science and Technology University. At BUET, the Indian flag was painted on the ground near the gate and the students trampling on it while entering the campus. Similar scenes unfolded at Dhaka University, where the flag was placed at the entrance of Ganit Bhavan and everyone passing through stepped on it.

These developments led to strong reactions and widespread outrage across India with Indians demanding a social boycott of Bangladesh. Some Hospitals and doctors too have come forward in taking strong decisions against the disrespect of the Indian tricolour, one of them being JN Roy Hospital of Kolkata.
JN Roy Hospital in Kolkata’s Maniktala area has announced that it will no longer treat Bangladeshi patients, citing the disrespect towards India shown by the neighbouring country.
The Hospital official Subhranshu Bhakt explained that the decision was prompted by the growing anti-India sentiment in Bangladesh, despite India’s instrumental role in its independence.
“We have issued a notification that, starting today, no Bangladeshi patients will be admitted for treatment. This is in response to the disrespect shown towards India,” Subhranshu Bhakt mentioned.
He further called on other healthcare institutions in Kolkata to adopt similar measures, urging solidarity against the insults to the tricolour.
Following this, on 28th November, a renowned Kolkata-based obstetrician-gynecologist Dr. Indranil Saha also came forward to announce that he will stop treating Bangladeshi patients. Deeply disturbed by the blatant disrespect shown towards India’s national flag, Dr. Saha decided to stop accepting appointments from Bangladeshi patients.
This move, he explained, is his personal protest against the actions in the neighboring country. Sharing the decision on Facebook with his 2.48 lakh followers, Dr. Saha stated, “For now, I will not be seeing patients from Bangladesh. My nation comes first, then income.”
The #BoycottBangladesh campaign is gaining significant momentum with social media flooded with the calls to ostracize the neighbouring country for the acts it has been continuously resorting to since 5th August. The calls of deporting illegal Bangladeshi infiltrators is also gaining momentum among Indians.
