India continuously supplying the critical technologies and other goods to Russia after the western countries, including the US, had imposed sanctions against Moscow in view of its Ukraine invasion over two years ago, is being talked about among the nations concerned.
India, however, without worrying too much about anything, has not only been exporting required stuff to Russia but also buying crude oil from it despite objections by several nations on numerous occasions.
The Government of India has made it clear to the world every time the move was questioned that it would do everything which is in the interest of the people of the country.

India, in fact, has also emerged as a top buyer of Russian oil despite allied efforts to restrict sales.
According to a report, India has surged to become the second-biggest supplier of restricted critical technologies to Russia.
The move that directly hit the efforts of the US and European countries to choke off President Vladimir Putin’s war machine.
Indian exports of restricted items to Russia such as microchips, circuits and machine tools surpassed $60 million in both April and May, about double from earlier months this year, and leaped to $95 million in July, the report said.
India is exceeded only by China in exports to Russia.
Quoting the most recent data, it says almost a fifth of the sensitive technology that goes to Russia was landing there via India.
The data underlines the difficulty the US and its allies are facing in crimping Russia’s ability to fight Ukraine ever since Putin’s forces invaded the country.
India’s role in the shipment of such goods has presented a further challenge because US and EU policymakers want to nurture partnerships with Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s government even as he cultivates ties with Putin.
