On the auspicious day of Paush Shukla Kurma Dwadashi, Vikram Samvat 2080, Ayodhya stands adorned in religious fervor, eagerly awaiting the historic Pran Pratishtha ceremony of Shri Ram Lalla at the Ram Mandir. The city, with its deep-rooted spiritual significance, is set to etch its name in history as it welcomes dignitaries, including Prime Minister Narendra Modi and RSS Chief Mohan Bhagwat, along with a grand influx of 7,000 VVIPs from various fields. Crafted by sculptor Arun Yogiraj, the divine 51-inch-tall idol of Ram Lalla, unveiled by Prime Minister Modi, graces the traditional Nagara architectural masterpiece spanning 380 feet in the east-west direction. Grand Arrival of Dignitaries

The city witnessed a grand influx of around 7,000 VVIPs from across the nation, including actors, sportspersons, industrialists, and politicians. The presence of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, RSS Chief Mohan Bhagwat, and other dignitaries added a majestic touch to the celebration.

Divine Sculpture: Ram Lalla Idol Unveiled

Crafted by the skilled hands of sculptor Arun Yogiraj from Mysuru, the 51-inch-tall idol of Ram Lalla stands gracefully on a lotus, capturing the image of a five-year-old Lord Ram. Meticulously carved from a single block of stone, the idol was unveiled by Prime Minister Narendra Modi in a momentous ceremony.

Constructed in the traditional Nagara architectural style, the Ram Mandir compound spans 380 feet in the east-west direction, with a width of 250 feet and an impressive height of 161 feet. The vertical structure comprises floors, each measuring 20 feet in height, supported by 392 pillars and adorned with 44 gates, showcasing architectural excellence.

Prime Minister’s Spiritual Journey

Before the Pran Pratishtha ceremony, Prime Minister Modi followed a strict 11-day ‘anushthan.’ He immersed himself in spirituality, sleeping on the floor and partaking in coconut water. The Prime Minister also embarked on a journey to various temples across India, culminating in a holy dip at the Rameswaram ‘Angi theerth’ beach.

Celebrities Grace the Occasion

The Pran Pratishtha ceremony witnessed the arrival of prominent personalities from various fields. Industrialists like Mukesh Ambani and Anil Ambani, actors including Rajinikanth, Kangana Ranaut, Sachin Tendulkar, and singers like Anuradha Paudwal and Sonu Nigam added star power to the grand event.

Saswat Ranjan, a sculptor from Odisha, paid artistic tribute to Ayodhya’s Ram temple by creating a replica using matchsticks in Puri. The creative endeavor symbolized the widespread enthusiasm for the grand occasion.

Integrated Traffic Management and Face Recognition

The Integrated Traffic Management System (ITMS) has been seamlessly integrated with 1500 public CCTV cameras for vigilant surveillance. Ayodhya’s yellow zone boasts 10,715 AI-based cameras featuring face recognition technology, enhancing monitoring and security in crucial areas.

SSF Commandos and CRPF Troops Ensure Sanctity

Nearly 100 highly trained SSF commandos, specializing in anti-terror tactics, are strategically positioned around the temple complex. The Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) will cordon off the sanctum sanctorum, where the idol of Lord Ram is enshrined.
