Tuljapur Tulja Bhavani Temple
Tuljapur is located in the Osmanabad district of Maharashtra. This is a place where Chhatrapati Shivaji’s Kuldevi Sritulja Bhavani is established, which is still popular as Kuldevi of many residents of Maharashtra and other states. Tuljapur Tulja Bhavani Temple is situated on the Yamunanchal mountain situated in the ancient Dandakaranya forest area of Maharashtra.
It is a popular belief that the idol of Tulja Bhavani Mata situated in it is self-manifested. Another special thing about this idol is that it is ‘moving’ instead of being permanently installed in the temple.
Along with this idol, Lord Mahadev, Shriyantra and Khandardev are also circumambulated on the Pradakshinapath three times a year. This is also a place where Chhatrapati Shivaji’s Kuldevi Sritulja Bhavani is established, which is still popular as Kuldevi of many residents of Maharashtra and other states.
Tuljapur Temple of Tulja Bhavani
The architecture of this temple is basically influenced by the Hemadpanthi style. On entering it, two giants Mahadwars are seen. After these, Kalol Tirtha is located first, in which the holy water of 108 Tirthas is mixed. After landing in it, Gomukh Tirtha is located at a short distance, where the water flows with a rapid current. After that the Tuljapur Tulja Bhavani Temple of Lord Siddhivinayak is established.
After entering a decorated door, the self-manifested statue of the mother is installed in the main room. A silver bed is located near the sanctum sanctorum, which is for the mother’s sleep. Shivling is installed on the opposite side of this bed, which when seen from a distance, it appears that Maa Bhavani and Shiv Shankar are sitting face to face.

Regarding the pillars with silver rings located here
It is believed that if you have pain in any part of your body, then touching this ring continuously for seven days ends that pain. There is also a legend associated with Tuljapur Tulja Bhavani Temple that there is such a miraculous stone here, about which it is believed that it answers all your questions in symbolic form ‘yes’ or ‘no’.
If the answer to your question is ‘yes’ then it automatically turns to the right and if ‘no’ then it turns to the left. It is believed that Chhatrapati Shivaji used to come to this stone named Chintamani before any war for the solution of his questions.

Swayambhu statue of Tulja Bhavani
This idol made of Shaligram stone is actually considered to be a self-manifested idol. This idol has eight hands, out of which she is holding the hair of the demon with one hand and with the other hand she is attacking the demon with a trident. It appears that Mother Mahishasura is killing the demon.
Her vehicle lion is installed on the right side of the mother. A statue of sage Markandeya is installed near this statue, which is in the posture of reading Puranas. Chakra, mace, trishul, ankush, bow and noose etc. Weapons are equipped in the eight hands of the mother.

How to reach Tuljapur Tulja Bhavani Temple
By Road- Travelers coming from the south can easily reach Naldurg by road. Pilgrims coming from northern and western states can reach Tuljapur via Solapur. While travelers coming from eastern states can come here via Nagpur or Latur.
By Rail- Pilgrims can come by rail till Solapur which is situated at a distance of only 44 kms from Tuljapur.
By Air- Pune and Hyderabad are the nearest airport to reach Tuljapur, from where this place can be reached by bus or private vehicle.
