Komuravelli Mallanna Temple, Timings and Overview
Mallikarjuna Swami Temple, popularly known as Komuravelli Mallanna Temple, is a Hindu temple located on a hillock in Komuraveli village of Siddipet district in the state of Telangana. This temple is dedicated to Lord Sri Mallikarjuna Swami with the main deity on either side Kethamma and Medalamma are accompanied by a fierce looking deity.
Komuravelli Mallanna Temple is situated in a cave on a small hill at a distance of 110 km from Warangal. The main shrine houses the deity Mallanna along with Gola Kethamma and Medalamma. The temple is particularly popular among devotees from the Kuruma and Yadav communities.
The clay idol of Lord Mallikarjuna Swami is believed to have been made 500 years ago. The temple is renovated by the Endowment Department and mandapams and squares etc. Are constructed. Komuravelli Mallanna Temple is situated at a distance of about 85 kms from Hyderabad.
History of this Temple
According to history of Komuravelli Mallanna Temple is an incarnation of Lord Shiva. Some used to say that Mallanna is the son of God and Elamma’s younger brother. The worship performed in this temple will be done in Telugu i.e. all the mantras will be chanted in Telugu, no Sanskrit will be used during the worship. The priests of the temple are from the Balija community who run the activities of the temple.
Komaranna of the Yadav community did penance for Lord Shiva on this hill, who later installed the idol. It is believed that Lord Shiva himself appeared in the form of Mallanna here in Malegaon Maharashtra. The main deity resides here with his consort Golla Kethamma and Balijamedala Devi. The main deity is 8 feet in height and is made of clay.
Komuravelli Mallanna Temple is thronged by devotees during the days of Brahmotsavam starting from Makar Sankranti. Shivratri festival will be celebrated with pomp. Once a year the deity would be painted. The main deity Tripurasura was seated on the images.

Komuravelli Mallanna Temple remains open from 4:30 am to 12 noon in the morning and from 3 pm to 8:30 pm in the evening.

By Air– The nearest airport is at Hyderabad airport which is located at a distance of 85 km away from this temple. From here you can easily reach this temple by using local buses.
By Train- The nearest railway station is located at Jangam which is 45 km away from this temple. There is a direct bus available from Jangam to the temple.
By Road- Direct buses are available from almost all the cities of the country. The temple is located at the distance of 22 km from Siddipet and 110 km from Warangal stations.
