The growth story of India on the global front has attracted pessimistic eye of the jealous mistress Pakistan. Ever, since India assumed the G20 Presidency last week, the hunger struck Pakistan is bothered by the growing stature of India and the global acceptance of India as an independent world power.

India, on the other hand, under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, has been butchering the narrative of the terrorist nation on global platforms. The Indian government has been exposing the hypocrisy of Pakistan and has been more than vigilant on every move of the nation. On the other hand, the ministers of Pakistan, who are nothing more than ‘begging bowls’ of the military establishment, are leaving no stone unturned to receive humiliation at the hands of the Indian counterparts.

Frightened Pakistan plays Victim Card

Recently, the Foreign Minister of Pakistan made a disgusting personal attack on Prime Minister Narendra Modi to gain two minutes of fame from the international community. The irony of the matter is that the shameful minister, who has himself lost his mother and former Pak PM Benazir Bhutto to an act of terrorism, was defending the terror acts of his nation.

Consequently, the act of hypocrisy was resoundingly and unequivocally denunciated by the Indian counterparts and received backlash from every quarter of the society.

The statement comes at a time when both Pakistan and China are infuriated by the growing technical and conventional defense might of India. Last week the Indian troops turned the Chinese black and blue in the Tawang region, leaving the Pakistani army frightened.

The prominent reason for the fear has been the recent remarks of the Defence Minister Rajnath Singh who reiterated New Delhi’s resolve to take over Pakistan-occupied Kashmir (PoK). The statement is in accordance with the resolution passed unanimously in Parliament on February 22, 1994, which casts duty on the Indian government to reclaim POK, Gilgit and Baltistan region.

The views had been seconded by the statement of the Northern Army Commander Lt General Upendra Dwivedi, who went ahead and said that the Indian Army is ready to execute orders of taking back Pakistan-occupied Kashmir.

These developments of yesterday in addition to the recent humiliation of the Chinese at the hands of Indian troops can create unrest in the political quarters of Pakistan. The infuriated and freckle minded ‘Pappu of Pakistan’, who happen to be the Foreign Minister has crossed all lines of decency by stooping low to make uncalled for attack on PM Modi.

Contrarily, in a resounding and unequivocal denunciation of Bilawal Bhutto’s speech at the UN, New Delhi declared that Pakistan lacked the authority to throw doubt on India and that “Make in Pakistan terrorism” must end.

Buildup of Controversy: Bilawal vs. Dr. Jaishankar

The entire incident began with the statement made by Dr. S. Jaishankar at the United Nations Security Council (UNSC). The Foreign Minister of India, lashed out at Pakistan for harboring Osama Bin Laden and for carrying out terrorist attacks on the Indian Parliament.

In his ridiculous retort, Bilawal Bhutto Zardari went on to make personal attacks against the Indian Prime Minister, Foreign Minister and the RSS. The statement is seen as an endeavor to deceive the world and deflect attention away from the failed state of Pakistan. The state sponsored terrorism in the country had led to an overall collapse of the radicalized state as the international relations have failed.

Furthermore, the nation faces issues of crumbling economy, lawlessness and anarchy in the society, simmering army disputes and increasing terrorism. The statement also highlights the desperate state of psyche and mental incompetence of the minister and his country.

Backlash of Bilawal Speech and its repercussions on Pak

The cadre of the Bhartiya Janta Party has vowed to organize widespread nationwide protests in response to the Pakistani Foreign Minister Bilawal Bhutto Zardari’s humiliating and insulting statements against Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

The BJP claims that there would be demonstrations in all state capitals across the nation. However, the move is seen by experts as an endeavour to form consensus amongst the citizens that Pakistan needs to be taught a lesson and the time has come to retrieve POK back. The strategy can be seen in alignment with the BJP and PM Modi style of functioning.

That is to say, before Article 370 was out to rest, BJP went in the people’s court to address the issue and receive citizens’ consensus on the issue. Similarly, before making a move against Pakistan in order to take back POK, the BJP is looking to build a similar kind of consensus. Thereby, indicating that the balkanization of Pakistan is nearby.

Raison d’être behind the Indo-Pak enmity

The sun of the British Raj set in the Indian subcontinent, at the stroke of midnight on 15th August, 1947. Thereby, India received independence from colonialism and the dominions of India and Pakistan were carved out of British India.

The historical move of Independence however, sowed seeds of decades of tussle between the two nations. The root cause of the conflict was centered at the crown of our geography, Kashmir, which acceded to India On 26th October 1947 by Maharaja Hari Singh. After the ‘Instrument of Accession’ was signed the Indian Army forced the retreat of the Pakistan Army. But owing to the United Nations intervention, a part of India remained in Pakistani occupation, infamously known as Pakistan Occupied Kashmir.

On the contrary, ever since independence, India had unequivocally claimed the area as its integral part. But now, the government seems to be determined enough to bring back the long-lost paradise of Pakistan Occupied Kashmir and Gilgit-Baltistan under Indian occupation.
