Lunar Eclipse 2022 in India will be visible on Tuesday, November 8 from 5 pm to 6 pm in many cities including Ranchi, Patna, Kolkata, Guwahati, Kohima, New Delhi, Bangalore, Nagpur and Mumbai. Apart from parts of India, Pakistan, Afghanistan and Russia, people will be able to see this celestial phenomenon directly with their eyes, near Asia, North and South America, Australia, North Atlantic Ocean, Pacific Ocean.
The partial eclipse of the Moon on November 8 will begin at around 2:39 pm (IST) and will reach its total phase at around 3:46 am. The eclipse will be maximum till 4:29 pm in terms of darkness. When the Moon will be deep inside the Earth’s shadow. The total lunar eclipse 2022 will end at around 5:11 am. The partial eclipse will end around the world at 6.19 pm.
Where and when will the lunar eclipse 2022 be visible
Lunar eclipse 2022 will be visible in all parts of India from the time of moonrise, but it will be visible only in the middle period. According to astronomers, both the partial eclipse and the total eclipse will not be visible in the initial phase. Because both the celestial events are starting when the moon is below the horizon and invisible everywhere in India.
Parts of eastern India including Kolkata will experience a total eclipse. Whereas in the rest of the country people will only be able to see the partial phase of the eclipse. Which will end at around 6:19.
In Kolkata the Moon will begin to rise above the eastern horizon at around 4:52 am and will be fully visible by 4:54 am. By 5:11 pm, this total lunar eclipse will be 2022. After which the moon will be illuminated as usual, leaving the position of partial eclipse. In the eastern part of the country, cities like Kohima, Agartala, Guwahati will be able to see the total lunar eclipse 2022 before Kolkata. The total lunar eclipse in the country can be seen only in Kohima at around 4:29 pm.
