This is the worst America has been since 1786 and India is the reason

No matter how much you dislike America; you are certain to fall for their media propaganda. After 1786, there is an unsaid understanding between government of the day and media channels. One party gets unlimited support from liberal media, while the other gets it from Conservative media. But, Biden’s tenure has turned out to be a game changer. His administration and his supporting media institutions do not agree on India.

Biden rants on Pakistan

Evidence indicates that for the last few days, Biden has been in better cognitive shape than the whole of his Presidency. Otherwise, why would he be able to bring out the dirt of Pakistan? In his recent address, sleepy Joe seemed to be in a mood to speak truth about his terrible experience with Pakistani set up during the last 5 decades of his political career. Yes, Biden was so unrestricted that he even criticised Pakistan for dichotomic division between civilian government in Islamabad and General Headquarters of Pakistan Army in Rawalpindi.

According to Biden, availability of Nuclear weapons and differing temperaments in Islamabad and Rawalpindi, the power centres of Pakistan makes it one of the most dangerous countries in the world. Quote, “”And what I think is maybe one of the most dangerous nations in the world: Pakistan. Nuclear weapons without any cohesion,”

US has been treating Pakistan with kid gloves

Biden’s latest remark about Pakistan is in stark contrast with how his administration has treated Pakistan in the last 12 months or more. America has left no stone unturned in cajoling the Pakistanis. For the last 1 year or so, Americans have treated Pakistan with kid gloves.

Even when Imran Khan, an anti-American leader was in power; the US had increased its FDI in dilapidated Pakistan. Increased American investment was the reason why the voices for ousting Imran Khan got louder and louder and ultimately, he was dethroned.

After Imran Khan, Shehbaz Sharif took charge, but ultimately it was Rawalpindi which controlled the foreign relations, especially with the US. It was the Army which convinced the Biden administration to get Pakistan out of the FATF grey list. FATF is wholly controlled by America.

Not only that, the US even increased its military assistance to Pakistan, the latest of which was the F-16 fighter jet’s fleet sustainment programme worth over $ 450 million. More recently, the Pentagon embraced Pakistani General Bajwa with open arms. Instantly, the US pressured the European Union to provide Pakistan with aid and the helpless EU obliged without any conditions.

As if that was not enough, Germany, the backbone and largest economy of the EU even went on to court Pakistan by calling for UN intervention on the Kashmir issue. It is only after India rebuked Germany, did it revert back.

NSS is pro-India document

Moving on, all these instances make it clear that the US was trying to rely on Pakistan to counter the rise of India. But, then again, in accordance with the nature of its polity, the Biden administration shocked the world through its document called NATIONAL SECURITY STRATEGY. As the name suggests, it is an outline of the US government’s overview of global affairs from the lens of security.

Interesting thing about the 2022 version of this document is that the document did not even use the word Pakistan. Yes, the same country which was trying to take billions of Dollars in aid from the US was found missing in a strategically important document of the country.

But, there are more surprises. The authors of NATIONAL SECURITY STRATEGY have extensively used the word India. India has been mentioned a total of 8 times in the document.

The Biden administration has clearly underlined how India is important for the success of initiatives like QUAD and I2-U2, the West Asian version of QUAD. Additionally, the US wants to increase its cooperation with India to address not only conflicts in the Indo-Pacific, but also issues such as climate change, cyber security and health related concerns.

Clearly, the US wants India’s cooperation in both military and civil areas. This is the reason why it has called India an “ally”. It means that the US believes that India will come to its rescue in times of crisis.

No unanimity in Washington

The publication of NATIONAL SECURITY STRATEGY, days before Biden’s characterisation of Pakistan may explain it. But, then again Republicans, whose neocons and Biden’s own party members are largely on same terms; do not believe the document to be authentic.

Ted Cruz, Texas Senator informed that Biden appeases and gives billions of Dollars to its adversaries. The prognosis from Ted’s analysis is that Biden’s sweet words for India do not mean that his administration will suddenly become friends with India.

Joe Biden is the worst foreign policy and national security president America has ever seen.

What the left doesn't understand is weakness is provocative.

In connivance with Rana Ayyub, WSJ wants to sanction imminent Indians

Biden tried to allay these concerns by referring to Pakistan as a non-cohesive state. However, the American media is hell bent on destroying whatever little trust New Delhi has on people in power corridors of America. Just after the publication of the doctrine, Wall Street Journal, a reputed left-leaning newspaper, decided to launch a slanderous attack on PM Modi’s Cabinet and other people at the top of India’s Sevak hierarchy.

The hate was so much there that the newspaper dedicated a full page to attack them. It treated them like a criminal and wrote, “WANTED MODI’s MAGNITSKY 11”. Americans use Magnitsky to refer to those foreign individuals who have committed human rights abuses or been involved in significant corruption.

According to the newspaper ad, 11 people namely Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman, Antrix Corp Chairman Rakesh Sasibhushan, Solicitor General Tushar Mehta, Supreme Court Judges Hemant Gupta and V Ramasubramanian, Special PC Act Judge Chandra Shekhar, CBI DSP Ashish Pareek, Enforcement Directorate’s Sanjay Kumar Mishra, ED Asst. Director R Rajesh, Addl. Solicitor General N Venkataraman, and ED Dy Director A Sadiq Mohamed should be sanctioned by the Biden government.

Full page ad war on India’s growth & progress. WSJ These are deep pocketed Hindu haters, pretending this is a war on Modi. Shame on Wall Street Journal for allowing such misinformation & lies. My guess ? CAIR & IAMC are drawing from the “oil money pool” that these groups use. pic.twitter.com/9wdrEe2v0N

— Asha Jadeja Motwani 🇮🇳🇺🇸 (@ashajadeja325) October 14, 2022

Further investigations reveal that the ad was handed over to WSJ by a group called Frontiers of Freedom. No surprises that its founder turned out to be in close cahoots with anti-India, anti-Modi and most importantly anti-Hindu Islamist called Rana Ayyub.

This WSJ ad war is being led by a shadowy group called Frontiers of Freedom…founder is clearly working with known India basher Rana Ayyub . pic.twitter.com/5LmDY3Ldsp

American media on anti-Modi spree

Last person who got such vilified coverage from liberal media was a Fox News Journalist called Tucker Carlson, their political enemy. The New York Times scanned his 1,150 episodes and wrote a scandalous piece on him in an attempt to take down the most popular cable news host. Few months later, the same newspaper decided to do an advertisement for PM Modi’s political rival in India.

Currently, AAP has replaced Congress as a credible challenger to BJP in state elections. It is trying its hands in Gujarat, the den of PM Modi. Given the impact of NRI Patels in Gujarat, the New York Times decided to assist the Aam Aadmi Party. It published a one page advertisement of Kejriwal’s model of education in Delhi.

The ad hid all the fault lines such as unavailability of funds and expensive private schools and presented it as a beacon of hope. If Kejriwal is speaking the truth that he did not pay for advertisement, then it is a clear cut political ad and nothing else.

Moreover, any positive news about India is virtually censored by these hard left American newspapers. They hunt for negative news around India, especially after 2014. If there is not much negative news, they give negative narrative to positive news and showcase India under PM Modi as a bad country. The problem was recently highlighted by our EAM S. Jaishankar.

India has left whole of America bewildered

Clearly, a cognitive dissonance is there in Washington and in one way India has caused it. Indian Foreign policy has left them with extreme confusion. After the Ukraine crisis kicked off, India increased its friendship with Russia, refusing to listen to American concerns. They tried their best and the Security apparatus of the US even aired its support for India in its anti-China drive.

Meanwhile, India also hinted towards changing its stance by engaging in diplomacies having little substance. For instance, Modi talked to Putin about war on the side-lines of the SCO summit. Americans celebrated it with unprecedented jubilation.

Additionally, India kept abstaining from voting against Russia on war related issues, but always voted against Russia on procedural issues. It did the same in recent UNGA as well. After voting against Russia on secret voting, it abstained from voting on the issue of what west terms as “illegal annexation of Ukraine.”

The US as a country is confused about its stand on India. It is directly attributable to India keeping it on tenterhooks. The US did it to the whole world for the last 7 decades. It turns out their own policy is their Achilles heels.
