Opposition has found a magic trick to lose against PM Modi

Gopal Italia recent video: What, according to you, is the sure-shot way to get success? Talent, acquiring necessary skills, a little luck, and a mix-match of many other things. To put it simply, everyone has their own path to success. But what if I tell you the sure-shot way of losing in today’s politics? That is, hitting your opponent way below the belt, too, when your ideological opponent is none other than PM Narendra Modi.

One thing the opposition forgets is that PM Modi has blurred the lines of caste, religion, and party politics. His untiring way of doing politics and connecting with the masses has won him admirers across the spectrum, even among his rivals.

Even after knowing these things, doing destructive politics against PM Modi and hurling the choicest abuses at him only rewards the politician with the fate of Mani Shankar Aiyar. Instead of doing any damage to the reputation or image of PM Narendra Modi, the habitual offenders and abusers end up in the pit they dug for him.

Gopal Italia: AAP’s Mani Shankar Aiyar 2.0 moment

During the peak time of the 2014 Lok Sabha elections, Congress leaders were in a self-destruction mode. One after another, they started hurling abuses at BJP Prime Ministerial candidate Narendra Modi. Some targeted his humble background; others started to make snide commentary.

Uncouth Congress leader Mani Shankar Aiyar notoriously led this charge against then Gujarat CM Narendra Modi. He offered to throw alms and offered to help him open a chai stall. What followed afterwards is an open secret. The same seems to be taking place in the wee hours of the Gujarat assembly elections, the home state of PM Narendra Modi.

The opposition’s unfair treatment of PM Modi shows in the words they abused him with

Recently, a video went viral in which Gujarat’s President of AAP, Gopal Italia, can be heard making derogatory comments about PM Narendra Modi. Purportedly, in the viral video, he is repeatedly calling PM Modi’s name “neech” [lowly].

The AAP leader also accused PM Modi of fooling the general public. With the choicest abuses, he can be seen resorting to a cheap imitation of Mani Shankar Aiyar. The only difference between Mani Shankar Aiyar and Gopal Italia is that Gopal Italia seems to be getting lauded in the party and getting more power from the top.

Contrary to that, Congress leader Aiyar was briefly removed from the grand old party. After the video went viral, netizens highlighted the controversial past of Gujarat AAP President Italia.

Super Exclusive Thread

1. Recently many videos of Gujarat AAP president Gopal Italia came to light in which he is talking against temples and Hindu rituals.
He has also used third-grade language for PM Modi.

From where does he get this hate? Let's see👇

The AAP leader, Italia, is notorious for making despicable statements against Hinduism. The rabid Hindu hater Gopal Italia spewed venom against Satyanarayana Puja. He had remarked, “Satyanarayan ki pooja me Hijdo ki tarah taaliya bajate hain.” He is also alleged to be hand in glove with forces that are inimical to the interests of India and have been described as Urban Naxals. During the recent visit to his home state, Gujarat, PM Modi too warned voters against urban naxals working in new clothes.

A long list of abuses hurled at PM Narendra Modi

Once, in a TV interview, Rahul Gandhi claimed that he wanted to destroy the image of PM Narendra Modi. He stressed that among voters, PM Modi has a clean and strong image, which needs to be dented to attain political success. The “chowkidar chor hai” jibe was the main line of attack of the Congress party during the 2019 Lok Sabha elections. Then Congress President Rahul Gandhi wanted to fix the charge of corruption on PM Modi to dent his political image.

In 2019, Rahul Gandhi said he will destroy Prime Minister Modi’s image…

In 2020, he says Chinese want to destroy Mr Modi’s image.

One wonders who is reading from whose script? Is Rahul Gandhi passing on tips to the Chinese or taking instructions from them? pic.twitter.com/nBi0HTI5RL

— Amit Malviya (मोदी का परिवार) (@amitmalviya) July 20, 2020

Also Read: Adhir Ranjan Chowdhury brazenly insults PM Modi, compares him to “gandi naali”

However, PM Modi has been undeterred and unflinching in his resolve and has demonstrated the art of making forts from the stones hurled at him. Instead of indulging in personal whataboutery or exchanging abuses, he used the chowkidar jibe to his advantage, using the chowkidar tag as a badge of honour, and rallied every voter with the smart invocation of Chowkidar as the safe upkeeper of everything.

In one public address, he highlighted the long list of abuses, which is certainly not exhaustive. He woven the insults directed at him into a thread and dubbed it “Congress’ Dictionary of Love (Prem ki Dictionary”). He highlighted that, for scoring a few claps and political brownie points, some opposition leaders had questioned his upbringing as well as lineage.

Through all these derogatory and personal snide remarks, the opposition has only strengthened Modi’s stand. These distasteful remarks only rally committed voters and sway neutral, undecided voters in favour of PM Narendra Modi, who currently enjoys great repute among the masses.

So, the abuse fiasco by Gujarat AAP President Gopal Italia will only serve the state election to the BJP on a silver platter, as in Gujarat those things escalate to another level courtesy of PM Modi hailing from the state. If the AAP party really wants to give a strong political fight to the BJP, it should learn hard lessons from earlier elections and the debacles of Congress leaders and not stir the hornet’s nest.
