A quote by Charles De Gaulle āPolitics is too serious a matter to be left to the Politiciansā goes pretty well with many politicians these days and Nitish Kumar isthe Prime example to it. Intoxicated with political power, he is at that stage of life where he has begun shadow boxing with the Modi Government. But what is even more pathetic isĀ that, he is not even doing that right. Like a daydreamer, it seems that his thoughts and dreams seems to have no end. He has begun seeing himself on the Prime Ministerās chair in 2024 but the irony is that the man who lacks the competence to control and develop one state i.e Bihar is now dreaming to be Indiaās most powerful leader.
Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao visits Patna
On Wednesday, Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao visited Patna, the capital city of Bihar, to meet Chief Minister Nitish Kumar. The camaraderie between the two leaders was on full display as they showered each other with praises and left no chance to bash the Modi Government.
However, their false praises for each other with no true reverence for each otherās ideas, ideology, and work came out in public. The picture was crystal clear. While Telangana CM K Chandrashekhar Rao and his political friend Nitish Kumar were addressing a press conference in Patna, they served a viral moment when they were questioned about the next PM candidate for the anti-BJP front. KCR, who was on a one-day visit to Bihar, was asked whether he would back Nitish Kumar as PM candidate for the 2024 General Elections.
When the leaders were posed with the question, a difference of opinion was seen, as Nitish Kumar stood up and wanted to leave.Ā As soon as the Bihar CM stood up, “Aap baithiye na (please sit),” KCR, pleaded while Nitish Kumar insisted, “Aap chaliye na (let’s go).” It was a viral event on the internet and a source of amusement for leaders from other political parties.
BJP too mocked both the leaders, as BJP leader Amit Malviya tweeted, “Did KCR travel to Patna to get insulted like this? Nitish Kumar didnāt even accord him the basic courtesy of completing his point in a press interaction. Nitish was dismissive of KCRās pleas to let him finish. But then that is Nitish Kumar. Self-conceited. KCR asked for itā¦”

Meanwhile, BJP Rajya Sabha MP, Sushil Modi told news agency ANI that “KCR didn’t even accept Nitish Kumar as a PM candidate & outrightly denied it. Nitish Kumar tried to walk out of a presser when they (Nitish Kumar & KCR) were asked about it though KCR tried to make him sit many times.”

Oppositionās Prime Minister Face
In the scenario where every leader in opposition seems to be pushing their agendas and trying to be a Messiah of the public by creating false narratives, and when none of the leaders in the opposition, be it personally or ideologically, appears to be in coherence with one another; the biggest question is who will be the face of opposition in the upcoming 2024 Lok Sabha elections?
The difference in their opinion can be observed from this incident that took place in Patna. It is enough to prove that there is no unity, integrity, or a common ideology among the opposition leaders; they are just directionless in their pursuit of āBJP-MUKT BHARAT.ā Ā This seems to be the classic case of theatre absurd, where every character is fighting hard to play the role of the protagonist of the drama. In their narcissism, they are making the audience go Gaga over their stupidity and buffoonery.
