Chameleon is popular for only one trait. They have the ability to change the colours. But, there exists another species which can put even the chameleons to shame. No prize for guessing the answer, as who else but liberals have the special powers called hypocrisy. The left-liberals have, time and again, played disgusting politics only to peddle their selfish agenda. Now, they are at it again.
Remember Nupur Sharma controversy? The liberals had labelled the ex-BJP spokesperson as a blaspheme, which she, in fact, wasn’t. She was thrown out to the dogs. She was left to be humiliated, attacked, and threatened. But, when on Friday, 12 August 2022, during an event in New York, the famous writer Salman Rushdie was attacked, the liberals came out condemning the attack. Mind you, these liberals were mum when Umesh Kolhe and Kanhaiya Lal were killed for merely supporting Nupur Sharma.
Rushdie’s attacker has no religion
The left cabal has a tendency to defend Islamists and demean nationalists. Thus, after Salman Rushdie was stabbed during the event, they condemn the attack but in a subtle manner. Guess what? The attacker of Salman Rushdie has no religion. While Nupur Sharma is seen as a threat for India’s communal harmony, the identity of Islamic attackers are hidden with the words like fanatics, miscreants, and goons.
Controversial Bollywood hothead lyricist and writer Javed Akhtar took to Twitter to condemn the attack and wrote, “I condemn the barbaric attack on Salman Rushdie by some fanatic. I hope that NY police and the court will take the strongest action possible against the attacker.”

Anti-India portal ‘The Wire’ journalist Arfa Khanum Sherwani also expressed her grief and wrote, “Horrifying and infuriating! Deeply condemn this violent fundamentalism. Praying for Salman Rushdie’s speedy recovery. Author Salman Rushdie Stabbed on Stage in New York, in Surgery.”

Propaganda journalist and a full-time Rahul Gandhi admirer, Rohini Singh, also tweeted, “Of course Nupur Sharma and Salman Rushdie cannot be compared. Nupur is a bigot, Rushdie isn’t. But there is grave threat to Nupur’s life too. The state must give her protection. No one should have to live in constant fear of brutal attack because they said obnoxious things.”

Hypocrisy of liberals
What transpired with Salman Rushdie is a clear indication that Nupur Sharma’s life is also in danger. One must not forget how Nupur was threatened for her life. She also received threats of rape. Needless to mention, #ArrestNupurSharma was trending on Twitter.
Islamists remarked that her time on Earth was done. One of the Islamists wrote, “@NupurSharmaBJP Gustakh-e-Rasul your time is done, enough derogatory words for today! You will be given the treatment you deserve. #GustakhERasool #ArrestNupurSharma”

It is pertinent to note that any person who does not believe in fairy tales about Prophet Muhammad is labelled as ‘Gustakh-e-Rasool’ in Islam.
Nupur Sharma only quoted the Islamic Hadith, that too, in response to attacks on her faith. Yet, she was a “bigot”. On the contrary, Salman Rushdie, who quoted Islamic texts to make his book sell is a hero for the liberal cabal.
Thus, if you are standing by Rushdie’s side, you must condemn the attacks on the supporters of Nupur Sharma. But, if you are supporting Zubair and Rushdie both, you are no less than a perfect hypocrite liberal.
Simply put, those against Nupur Sharma but condemning the attack on Salman Rushdie are unscrupulous, irrational, blockheaded, illogical, and liberal chameleons.
