As they say, children are the future. They have a tendency to learn from whatever lies in their immediate surrounding. In this modern day and age, this ability is open for everyone to harness. Unfortunately, herein lies the problem. Bollywood has decided that your kids are old enough to learn how to twerk.
Little angel is learning to twerk
A video is viral on the Internet. The video is a clip from a show called Super Dancer, a show on Sony TV. Its Judges are Anurag Basu, Geeta Kapoor and Shilpa Shetty. Kids allowed to participate in the show belong to an age range of 4 to 13. In the video, a little girl is taking twerking lessons from a female. In the next portion of the clip, the girl is doing it on her own. The song is a misogynist one called “Kar Gayi Chull”. A song which is supposed to be an “adult-only” song.
What an age to learn twerking! What an audience that cheers a kid doing this because “oh, she looks like a toy”

In the last few seconds of the 21-second-long video, Geeta Kapoor appreciates the kid for hyper-sexualised dancing by saying, “Ohhh! She’s like a little toy”. This is disgusting.

But the larger question is what’s happening to those parents? Why are they not objecting to this extreme civilisational threat? Where are those dads who used to punt children spoiled by excess love from mother and other relatives?
Consumerism infected hedonism
The answer is that they have all been sucked into consumerism. Now, there is a trend of Insta Moms. People are not becoming parents because they want to bring a new life onto Earth, but they are doing it to increase the chances of social acceptance. Unfortunately, the meaning of the word society has been twisted to such an extent that it has lost its meaning. Simply put, society is what social media says. Needless, to say, social media is dominated by a hedonistic bunch. They do not believe in anything except money and everything in life has to be directed towards earning money.
As soon as children are born, new Moms and Dads of this millennium open their Instagram accounts. Most of the time, the goal is to increase their fan base and earn ad revenues. The followers’ base comes only when either children or parents do something out of the box, record it and put it on Instagram. Most of the time these are children doing it and they are trained by their Insta Moms who are teaching them to repeat what they are doing. In the past, Delhi Commission of Women had issued a notice to one such mother for ‘vulgar’ content with her own son. There are many such incidents where authorities had to step in.

Parents are just following the trend
But it is wrong to say that the parents are at fault for everything. They are just following what is up there on the social ladder. In the Insta world, the more you sexualise yourself, the more attention you get and henceforth more followers. The moms are mostly gullible and in fact, do not know the consequences of their actions. They get trapped and effectively coerce children towards momentary nihilism. However, this is only the tip of the iceberg.
At the top of the food chain, eating children’s souls, lie western racket of paedophiles. There is a renewed interest in post-modernism infecting IVY leagues to normalise everything dangerous for the stability of society. One of them is sexual relations with children. In the new lexicon, they term paedophilia as “attraction towards minors”. Papers are being published to call paedophilia a sexual orientation rather than a pervert approach deserving punishment. Professors are calling paedophiles “Minor Attracted Persons”.

An attempt to normalise paedophilia
While paedophilia is continuously getting normalised in the United States of America, the country is still glamorised in Indian TV Serials. Just watch any TV serial and see how much respect a character in that Serial gets, just because he or she is an America return. More specifically, Anupama a TV Serial recently glamorised “dancing in America”. Little do the viewers know that there is not an ounce of soul and morality left among the dancers in the United States.

Artists are liberal by temperament. It is their job requirement to be such. But there is always a limit to how much society can soak up their ‘excessive’ liberal artistic product. When these products start to destroy the very fabric on which society is built, it becomes imminent to apply a disc brake to artistic freedom, before it destroys everything.
There is an urgent need for society, authorities, and parents to come out and protect our children. We can’t leave our children in the hands of sexual predators.
