In India, day by day the real face of the radicals coming out in the open. Every alternate day, the nation throws some light on a hate crime or hate speech issue which eventually forms a tussle. And any kind of leaning amidst this tussle should be avoided. But, India’s politicians and Journalists, who are the pillars of democracy seem to be functioning the other way around.
The recent case of brutal killing of a Kanhaiya Lal in Udaipur is one such instance of Politicians and Journalists maintaining their silence. The victim was beheaded in the Udaipur district of Rajasthan but even this barbaric attempt can’t force the Politicians and Journalists to utter a single word against the incident due to their traditional vote-banks and viewers/subscribers.
It’s hard to understand the stance of Politicians and Journalists like these who just want to maintain their reign and not condemn the people responsible for the attempt. Their silence after this barbarian act shows India is full of erroneous politicians who are nothing more than puppets of their vote-banks. These personalities are once again the reason behind the Udaipur case.
What is the Udaipur case?
On June 28, two persons brutally murdered a tailor in Udaipur, Rajasthan. They even posted videos of the same on social media saying that they just took revenge amidst the insult to Islam. The perpetrators include that the action was after the victim’s social media posts supporting the suspended spokesperson of BJP Nupur Sharma.
This gruesome incident further inflicted the entire state of Rajasthan following the violence and protests in the state. However, the latest development in the case is the imposition of a curfew till further orders in Udaipur.
The killing of Kanhaiya Lal, the tailor is clearly an attempt of spreading terrorism and trepidation in the country. However, the two accusers are arrested but panic still exists.
After this ghastly crime, various politicians came out in the open to show their despair but interestingly, they didn’t mention the word “Muslims” as the actual perpetrators. It has always been the history of these politicians to blame all Hindus when the accuser happens to be a Hindu but they zip their mouths when the perpetrator is a Muslim.

Politicians and Journalists condemning half-truth
The left-leaning liberals have this perplexing ability to demean the saffron color as much as possible. But they never forget to stand behind the radicals when they are in problem. It’s important for them to downplay terrorism, because for them it’s not about the ideology but power and money.
Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot said, “The incident in Udaipur is very sad and the amount of condemnation is less, it is a matter of great concern that it is very sad and shameful to kill someone like this. I understand that there is also a need to improve the atmosphere. There has been an environment of tension in the whole country.”
Congress leader Rahul Gandhi said, “I am deeply shocked by the heinous murder in Udaipur. Brutalism in the name of religion cannot be tolerated. Those who spread terror due to this cruelty should be punished immediately. We all have to defeat hate together. I appeal to all, please maintain peace and brotherhood.”
These tweets by the politicians do not include the word “Muslims”, as they were the accusers or murderers. This was because politicians cannot go against the population of a particular section that contributes their majority share of votes. In doing so, they will lose their vote bank which is not affordable to them, even if their own nation is at stake.

Interestingly, not just politicians but various Journalists of ‘repute’ news organizations are also active contributors of this cabal.
NDTV, which is a ‘very popular’ news media organization has not mentioned anything related to “Muslims” in its report published on 28 June. Being the media organization, it’s their duty to encompass both sides of the fence.
Journalists like Barkha Dutt and Rajdeep Sardesai who are perceived as intellectuals of the media industry have not uttered anything for Muslims. For them, it was always raising the truth but the notion changes when it’s about Hindus.
All this leads to the question that why it’s always Hindus at the target point? The left cabal has always accused Hindus. From the Kamlesh Tiwari to the Udaipur case, Hindus have always been at the receiving end. It’s time for the authorities to take action against the bigotry prevailing in the country.
