The yesterday’s Udaipur butchery shocked the entire nation. In broad daylight two jihadis in the garb of “customer” hacked an innocent Hindu tailor Kanhaiya Lal to death. Both the Islamic savages gleefully filmed the entire act of barbarism which they intentionally forwarded in several whatsapp groups to make it viral and terrorise the entire state. With an abhorrent sense of pride and pleasure at their cruelty they termed it as an act of revenge for the alleged Blaspheme. The Islamist duo also gave life threat to Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

Pakistani connection of both the Jihadis
The two Jihadis who brutally killed Kanhaiya Lal were identified as Riyaz Attari and Ghous Mohammed. Some Initial reports have pointed out Pakistani connections of the extremist duo. The primary investigation into the ISIS style Udaipur murder revealed links of the self-radicalised Jihadi duo with Karachi-based Sunni Islamist organization Dawat-e-Islami. This Islamist organisation is further linked with Barelvi pan-Islamic Tehreek-e-Labbaik extremist organisation in Pakistan.
The two Murder acussed were arrested by the Rajasthan Police at Rajsamand. They were said to be heading towards Ajmer Sharif to shoot another video after cruely murdering innocent Hindu tailor Kanhaiya Lal for supporting alleged blasphemy.
Police Interrogation of the radicalised Islamists revealed that the two belonged to Sufi-Barelvi sect of Sunni Islam. Both of them had close links with Dawat-e-Islami in Karachi. According to Counter-terror officials the two were self-radicalised and further investigation will reveal whether they had any links with other extremist Sunni organizations in India including those with links with Muslim Brotherhood.
The Dawat-e-Islami is a Karachi based Islamist organisation. Its aim is to spread the teachings of the Quran and Sunnah with the objective of advocating Shariah globally. The radical group has a huge following in the Islamic Republic of Pakistan and is committed to supporting the blasphemy law.
The two cruel butchers have been booked under Unlawful Activities Prevention Act (UAPA). Additionally, to fully analyse the rot which caused this terror act, the case has been handed over to National Investigation Agency (NIA). The NIA will find out all these angles and the cause of this rampant radicalisation in India. In the past investigations it was found out that Islamic extremist group Popular Front of India (PFI) was the main alleged mastermind behind the communal violence.

According to News reports, Kanhaiya Lal was facing life threats for some time. He had reportedly informed the Police about the same. But the local Police didn’t wake up from its slumber. So, he had to adopt a cautious approach and close his only source of earning for a few days. But unfortunately the day he reopened his shop to earn a livelihood for the family, he had to suffer this monstrosity.
This barbaric act should be a wakeup call for the government to stringent laws to check the rising radicalisation in the country. It also highlights the deteriorating law and order situation in the state of Rajasthan. The sinister plan of our neighbouring country Pakistan to vitiate the atmosphere has to be tackled with firm hands and the perpetrators should be punished in a manner that sets deterrence for any such acts in future.
