The Shiv Sena which was once politically ostracised and incessantly criticised for its hooliganism and ‘stick’ policy broke its winning Hindutva alliance with nationalist BJP. On the day itself it became an overnight darling of the left-liberal coterie and many institutions inimical to the interest of the Hindu community. Going by the saying that you can analyse a lot about someone by their friend circle, we can gauge many things from a new friend circle emerging in Maharashtra political circles. After the Bollywood cabal, Uddhav ji has got a new cheerleader bandwagoning his cause.
Modern ‘East India Company’?
British Broadcasting Corporation (BBC) has been a rabid colonial mindset driven media organisation. It only sees India through its colonial lenses. So, anything and everything is spun to suit their nefarious agenda. At a time when two clear factions have emerged in the Shiv Sena. The BBC has decided to pick one. Unlike the Bollywood ‘dimwits’, BBC is indirectly supporting the MVA tripod government and the ‘Best’ CM Uddhav Thackeray. For that, it is taking pot shots and making a whole hog effort to dig in dirt on the Eknath Shinde faction.

Leaving no stone unturned in pleasing the MVA alliance, BBC has done a ‘reportage’ of Eknath Shinde’s ancestral village, Dare. Dare, which is about 70 km from the hill town of Mahabaleshwar and is situated on the banks of river Koyna. The village has only 30 houses.
According to the BBC, most of the houses are locked as inhabitants are migrant labourers. Due to no source of income in the village, people here work in Mumbai and Pune. As per their claim, Dare has no health and education infrastructure. But the village has two helipads. Whenever Eknath Shinde visits the village, he comes in a chopper. On claims of a local resident, Indian Express wrote that near Koyna river he has built one helipad. After that, a new helipad was constructed in the village very next to his house. It will be operational very soon.
But if everything is grim in his ancestral village why are the villagers supporting Eknath Shinde and hoping that he becomes the Chief Minister of the state. Contrary to the grim media reportage, the villagers acknowledge his many developmental works for the village.
Dare’s sarpanch said, “The area has been an NCP stronghold. Shinde has never been involved in any political activity at the local level. Though he has certainly initiated some development work in the village. The villagers stand by all the decisions he makes.”

Why is Eknath Shinde becoming a thorn in BBC’s eyes?
Eknath Shinde is a staunch Shiv Sainik who got guidance directly from Hindu Hridya Samrat Bala Saheb Thackeray and Thane’s Anand Dighe. He has rebelled against the CM Uddhav Thackeray on the Hindutva plank. Matter of fact is that everything was going well for the Hindutva party Shiv Sena till Uddhav ji’s greed for power trumped the Hindutva ideology. As per every media report, Eknath Shinde has the numbers on his side and may revive the original Shiv Sena. This is the main bone of contention that is troubling the Bollywood cabal and the imperialist BBC.

The BBC’s rabid Hindu hatred is an open secret. So, the cheerleading for a non-Hindutva party was always on the cards. As birds of a feather always flock together. Hindutva and nationalism are the complete anecdote to these Imperialist media organisations and such other institutions.
