Rahul Khanna, the son of late actor Vinod Khanna, is an Indian actor. Rahul is also a VJ and writer who works predominantly in the Bollywood film industry. Career
Rahul Khanna began his career as an MTV Asia VJ (video jockey). His enormous reputation in Asia was cemented by a steady stream of excellent press and evaluations.
He made his feature film debut alongside Aamir Khan in Canadian filmmaker Deepa Mehta’s Earth. He won multiple prizes for his performance, including the prestigious Filmfare Award for Best Debut (2000). He’s also appeared in Mehta’s Bollywood/Hollywood films since then (2003). Elaan and Raqeeb are two of Rahul’s prominent Bollywood flicks.
Rahul may also be seen on stage in the hit West-End play East is East, which is currently being staged in New York. Rahul’s performance as Tariq, the rebellious son of a Pakistani father and a British mother, earned him accolades from both spectators and reviewers in the film directed by Scott Elliott (A Map of the World).
Rahul’s other foreign credits include Kevin Kline’s The Emperor’s Club. He was the anchor of Discovery Week, a Discovery Channel program that aired in 2006.
