Kangana Ranaut has effectively whitewashed and mainstreamed Munawar Faruqui

Kangana Ranaut is probably the only Bollywood actress who is popular for not mincing her words and speaking her heart. She is believed to be one of those persons who dared to raise her voice against any anti-national approach. Not one but there are many instances where she has truly displayed the strength to not toe the line of the ‘woke’ Bollywood. She refused to cow down by police summons and exposed Uddhav Government.  She followed her heart to stick to the ‘nationalistic’ ideology. What a lady she is!

The right-wing groups and those having a soft corner for Hindutva, thus, made Kangana a star and this is why she has been bagging a good number of movies despite being almost boycotted by Bollywood.

However, the ‘Queen’ of Bollywood has probably taken a U-turn and this is evident with her recent actions to whitewash the crimes of Munawar Faruqui. She has also ended up giving a platform to Faruqui which obviously will help him to make it to bigger platforms.

Kangana provided Faruqui with a platform to mainstream him

A reality show named “Lock Upp” ALTBalaji and MX Player has been hogging the limelight ever since it was announced. The reasons will blow your mind. The ‘queen’ of Bollywood was herself hosting the show and that made people excited about the show.

Wait, there is something more to the show that made the audience glued to their couch when the first episode was aired. Well, that is Munawar Faruqui. Faruqui was roped in for Kangana’s show. Even if it disappoints many of you but it is the truth.

What is the big deal, you may ask? Notably, Kangana and Faruqui have been loggerheads with each other for a long time. Moreover, the difference in ideologies is another reason that made people question the duo coming together for a show.

It was the anti-Hindu jokes and derogatory comments on the Godhra riots because of which Faruqui’s twelve shows were cancelled in the two months and he was lodged in jail. However, after several attempts to fight the cancellation by Hindu activists, Munawar Faruqui had opted to say a tactical goodbye to his comedy career.

But Kangana came to the ‘rescue’ and Faruqui was roped in for the show. Now, he has platforms like AltBalaji and MX player to justify himself.

Even if it looked like he was made part of the show only to get roasted by Kangana, the fact that Munawar has been given a national platform cannot be denied.

Kangana ‘emotional’ as Faruqui revealed a secret

Even though, in the beginning, Kangana attempted to roast Munawar and schooled him in the first episode itself. Kangana and Munawar were seen locking horns in the first episode when the so-called comedian was introduced to the audience. Kangana asked him, “Munawar, why are you here? I hope you’re not here to mess with me. Mazaak kar rai hu yaar. Hum bhi toh joke maar sakte haina (I am just kidding. I can crack a joke too, right?).” Munawar replied, “Bas thoda funny nahi tha (Just that it wasn’t too funny).”

Munawar added, “Mujhe comedy se kuch change nahi karna hai. Kalakaar kranti nahi la paaya aaj tak (I don’t want to change anything from my comedy. No artist has been able to bring a revolution with their work).”

Kangana schooled the comedian and stated that she has been one artist to do it. “Agar yahan pe saza-e-maut hoti toh inko de di jaati (I would have announced the death penalty for him if it were allowed),” she said.

Munawar, however, insulted the host and disrespectfully replied, “Mereko dhamkiyan mat dijiye (Don’t threaten me).”

However, with every episode, it seems that Kangana has started ‘liking’ Faruqui. This is why when Faruqui had an emotional moment in the show, Kangana too started crying. In one Judgement Day episode, Munawar was seen sharing a secret about his life to save himself from eviction. He shared the story of his mother in a choked voice that left other contestants and Kangana emotional.

Munawar Faruqui said, “It was the January of 2007. Sometime around 7 am, my grandmother woke me up and said that something has happened to my mother. We had to take her to the hospital. When I reached there, they were bringing my mother out of the emergency ward. She was screaming and I was holding her hand. There was a moment when doctors talked among themselves and told me to leave her hand. They forced me to do so, I realised my mom had died. I still cannot let that go. I always think things may have been different had I slept with my mom that night, had I reached the hospital earlier. The doctors also told us that my mom had not had anything to eat for eight days. For 22 years of her married life, my mom was not happy. All my life, I saw her being beaten up or saw fights between my parents.”

Hearing this, Kangana started crying. Although it is obvious for any human being to cry in such stories, it is not the one instance where Kangana has supported Faruqui in the show. On almost every Judgement Day, she has been referring to Faruqui as her favourite and even said that she likes him.

When Kangana played the woman card

Remember the controversy around Kangana – Hrithik’s alleged relationship? In an interview with India TV’s Rajat Sharma, Kangana had once talked about the humiliation that she was subjected to and the betrayal it resulted in.

An alleged 7-year long, passionate affair between two high profile celebrities with no trail left behind. No evidence, no paparazzi pictures, no witnesses, not even a memento in possession like a selfie taken at the alleged engagement which is claimed to have happened in Paris in Jan 2014. Nothing that constitutes an exchange or any sort of proof of a romantic relationship.

Yet we want to believe the other party because the rhetoric is -why would a girl lie?

When Kangana bullied Adhyayan Suman

Earlier as reported by TFI, in 2018, Bollywood actor Adhyayan Suman had shared some tweets. According to the mentioned tweets, Adhyayan Suman was not only bullied by Kangana Ranaut but also assaulted more than once. In one assault, he was left with severe injuries. Recollecting his earlier narration of events 2 years ago, he even alleged that nobody tried to hear his traumatic experience.

He not only accused Kangana Ranaut of being mean to him but also alleged that when he narrated his ordeal earlier, nobody lent an ear to him. Instead, everyone, from media to the ‘woke feminists’ mocked his tales, even dragging his father, popular comedian Shekhar Suman into the mess.

This is a different side of her personality. On the one hand, Kangana portrays herself as a ‘Hindu Sherni’ while on the other, she bullied actors like Hrithik Roshan and Adhyayan Suman. Well, it wouldn’t be good to come to any conclusion as of now but if the above incidents and Kangana’s newly emerging love for Faruqui are something to be believed, it can be asserted that Kangana is surely attempting to whitewash and mainstream Munawar Faruqui.
