Be it a BJP supporter or a critic of the ruling party, everyone is aware of the power of PM Modi. Such is the Modi wave that BJP has blossomed in the country like never before. However, few political leaders aspiring to become the next Prime Minister seemingly are envious of the popularity of Modi led BJP government and thus are reluctant to bow before PM Modi.
However, time makes people do everything. This is exactly what happened with Bihar CM Nitish Kumar. Nitish Kumar, who as per his party members is a “prime minister (PM) material”, has eaten a humble pie to bow before PM Modi during CM Yogi’s swearing-in ceremony.
A feared Nitish greets PM Modi
Earlier as reported by TFI, all three VIP MLAs- Raju Kumar Singh (Sahebganj), Misri Lal Yadav (Alinagar) and Swarna Singh (Gaura Bouram), met Bihar Assembly Speaker Vijay Kumar Sinha and sought their merger with the BJP.
With the latest move by three VIP MLAs, BJP has become the single largest party in Bihar. The development, therefore, gives the BJP a psychological boost and an edge over its coalition partner JD (U).
What does that mean? Well, this move becomes all the more important because recent reports suggest how all may not be well between the BJP and the JD (U). And, this is what has feared Nitish Kumar. He does not want to become another Mukesh Sahani – the Vikassheel Insaan Party (VIP) chief and Bihar Animal Husbandry and Fisheries minister.
The fear of losing Bihar made Nitish Kumar greet PM Modi. He bowed and greeted Prime Minister Modi on the stage at Yogi Adityanath’s oath ceremony in Lucknow on Friday.
RJD mocks Chief Minister of Bihar
Soon after the picture went viral, the rival party Rashtriya Janta Dal, his main political rival in Bihar, posted an old video on Twitter. posting the video, RJD began mocking CM of Bihar as an angry Nitish had vowed to never join hands with the BJP.
The post includes a photo of Nitish Kumar bowing before Narendra Modi and his viral 2013 speech as the background audio. For those unversed, after a fall out with the BJP in 2013, Nitish Kumar had said, “Under any circumstances, there is no question of returning (to an alliance with the BJP). Whether I stay or go, there will be no understanding with you (the BJP) in the future. It is impossible.”
Quoting Nitish Kumar’s 2013 speech, the RJD posted, “I will return to dust, I will not go to the BJP. Now all that is left is lying on the ground and holding his feet. Today’s picture!”
“मिट्टी में मिल जाऊँगा,भाजपा में नहीं जाऊँगा।”
अब बस मिट्टी में लेटकर पैर पकड़ना ही बाक़ी बचा है।

With such things unfolding, Bihar politics has taken an interesting route. what happens between BJP and RJD is yet to witness but one thing is for sure, BJP is all set to rejuvenate itself in Bihar.
