Despite losing multitudes of war from India, Pakistan’s military jingoism never stops. Average Pakistani still believes that their army is capable of beating India. They are now in for a rude awaking as their army men are being killed on a daily basis by Balochis.

Pak army under attack

The Pakistan’s army is in rude shock for the past few days. Multiple attacks by the Baloch Liberation Army (BLA) have left it bewildered. It is being claimed that at least 100 Pakistani soldiers have been killed by BLA in the Pakistani army camps of Noshki and Panjgur.

Biggest attack on Pakistan forces in Bal0chistan:

As per BLA: 45 eliminated in Noshki and 50 in Panjgur. Local sources claim 35 and 15. Official acceptance 2.

Pakistani administration has also confirmed that they are under attack by BLA. However, according to them, BLA is over-reporting causality numbers. Sheikh Rasheed Ahmad, the interior minister said that only four Pakistani soldiers died in the attack.

Discrepancy in Pak’s claims

Meanwhile, BLA has claimed that factual details presented by the Pakistani army and government are wrong. The Pakistani army had claimed that Baloch rebels had been pushed back. Jeeyand Baloch, a spokesperson of BLA issued a release in this regard. The written release says that the Pakistani army’s claim that BLA has been repelled from the camps is wrong.

Starting my morning with this. BLA issued a statement ' Calling ISPR statement as Fake and fabricated ' , BLA also released a video of fighters inside the compound.#BLA said so far 100+ #Pakistan soldiers killed in both #Panjgur and #Noshki #Balochistan pic.twitter.com/9oqii7iW2U

The spokesperson said that BLA is still carrying out its operations in the otherwise Pakistani military camps. Baloch also said that occupying state (Pakistan) has banned its media from reporting about the attack. Moreover, all official telephone lines have been cut off by the Imran Khan administration.

BLA is resisting Pakistani occupation of Balochistan

A bloody war between BLA and the Pakistani army is going on in Pakistan. BLA claims that the Pakistani state has illegitimately occupied Balochistan. To assert their claim, they cite the Pakistani administration’s incessant use of resource-rich Balochistan. Pakistan uses Balochistan’s rich gas and mineral reserve, but it does not give even a single penny to Balochis living in the area.

To fund its exploitation of Balochistan, Pakistan uses Chinese money. Currently, China has invested more than $60 billion in China Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC). A key component of this corridor passes through Balochistan, and this is why the region holds a strategic interest for the Pakistani administration.

Chinese investment is the main target

When China started to invest, Balochis thought that they will be blessed with livelihood opportunities. However, China brought in its own men to implement its projects. On one hand, Balochi’s resources were getting exploited while on other China and Pak were filling their coffers.

Soon, Balochis retorted with violent attacks and targeted projects involving China. In the year 2021, BLA launched at least 10 such attacks on Pakistani soil. Pak army’s casualty numbers are only expected to increase in future as it has to divert its resources towards other terrorist groups threatening their country.
