Campus Front of India, the student wing of radical Islamist organization Popular Front of India, is crying blood after the students of Kumbalathu Sankupillai Memorial Devaswom Board College (KSMDB College), chanted ‘Swamiye Saranam Ayyappa’, the religious cry of Bhagwan Ayyappa devotees, as well as the war-cry of an Indian Army Brahmos missile regiment.
KSBDB college is run by Devaswom Board and funded from Temple money. The college had recently hosted the Mavelikkara National Cadet Corps (NCC) 8th Kerala Battalion Camp from December 26 to January 1. The visuals of the NCC parade, led by girls chanting the religious cry of Bhagwan Ayyappa, was a visual pleasure.

However, it obviously did not go well with the Islamist and leftist organizations. The PFI protestors, numbering more than 100, tried to enter KSMDB college forcefully on 7th January to register their protest against the NCC parade. The Islamist mobs attacked police officials when they tried to stop them from entering the college and created havoc near the premises.

The Communists also protested against religious chants in the college. Ajay Krishna from the communist All India Students’ Federation (AISF) Kunnathoor Constituency Committee alleged that raising Hindu religious slogans in the college was against secular democratic values. Ajay Krishna obviously does not have a view on religious chanting in Christian/Muslim schools and college prayers.
Campus Front of India, the student wing of PFI, is expanding exponentially in the campuses across Kerala with the rising number of Muslims in the state. Moreover, now more Muslims send their children to schools and colleges, although they want their girls to wear hijab on campus.
CFI, along with its parent PFI, has been involved in many anti-national activities including anti-CAA protests. It has protested against the “atrocities” against Rohingya people in India and wants Muslim girls to be allowed to wear scarfs during the entrance exams (probably to ensure that they can cheat easily).
PFI was formed in 2006, as a successor to National Development Front, and it has been accused of involvement in anti-national and anti-social activities by the Indian Government on several grounds.
During the anti-Citizenship Amendment Act protests back in 2020, the Uttar Pradesh government blamed the Popular Front of India (PFI) for the violent activities and protests in the state, followed by the Assam government which approached the Centre seeking a ban on the radical Muslim outfit PFI for their active involvement in the violent incidents and vandalism during the anti-CAA protests in the state.
The Kerala government in 2014 had submitted a report claiming 86 PFI’s involvement in the murder and anti-national activities. The central investigating agencies had earlier even found links between PFI and Pakistani spy agency, ISI. Uttar Pradesh, Karnataka, Kerala, Jharkhand had already demanded a ban on PFI by the Home Ministry. However, no action has been taken against the organization yet and the Modi government must move quickly on this front. Otherwise, CFI and PFI would inflict huge damage on the Nation given their Islamist leaning and growing power.
PFI is not a radical islamist outfit but an extremist & terrorist islamist outfit! There’s nothing radical about the religion but everything extremist & terrorist about it!
TFI should use the right words!
