Geeta Sanon is an Author, Professor and the mother of bollywood actress Kriti Sanon. Geeta Sanon is an associate professor at ARSD College, University of Delhi; She teaches Physics. Geeta Sanon  is the author of the book ‘BSc.Practical Physics,’ which is not only widely used but also recommended in many university syllabi, including that of the University of Delhi.

Apart from teaching and writing Geeta Sanon is also assigned with administrative responsibilities. Geeta Sanon did her M.Sc in Physics from Delhi University in 1985. By the end of 1990 she completed her Doctorate from Delhi University. She specialized in Electronics, Semiconductor Thin Films. She teaches Mathematical Physics, Statistical Mechanics, Thermal Physics , Electricity and Magnetism.

Kriti Sanon (born July 27, 1990) is an Indian actress who is best known for her work in Hindi cinema. In 2014, she made her Telugu debut with the psychological thriller 1: Nenokkadine. Sanon won the Filmfare Award for Best Female Debut for her role in Sabbir Khan’s action-comedy-romantic Heropanti (2014), which was her first Hindi film.

Since then, Sanon has starred in the box office hits Bareilly Ki Barfi (2017), Luka Chuppi (2019), Mimi (2021), and Hum Do Hamare Do (2021). The comedic action romance Dilwale (2015) and the comedy Housefull 4 were her highest-grossing films (2019). She also has her own clothing line and sponsors a number of businesses and goods, and she was named to Forbes India’s Celebrity 100 list in 2019.
