Registration and management of DigiThane
This registration is limited to Tang citizens aged 16 and over. The Digi-Thane portal was slow to start, but TMC reported that there were over 1.80 lakhs of Thane residents registered on the app. The company paid Rs 22 crores to the agency managing the Digi Thane project.
He also said the administration is vigilant and all emergency services are in place. That number is still less than the five or six thousand people TMC expected.
