Omicron may be the beginning of the end of the Pandemic

Ever since the new Covid variant Omicron was discovered by scientists in South Africa, countries across the planet have been on a red-alert mode. While the governments are taking a measured approach, not looking to impose hard lockdowns, especially the Indian government, the lobbyists of the big pharma companies have started their fear-mongering tactics. Fearing that the pandemic was turning into an endemic, thereby reducing profits, the greedy pharma cos have stepped on the throttle using their stale old tropes.

Pfizer and Moderna lobby, looking to cash in on the opportunity and sell their faulty vaccines have started to aggressively bat for booster shots for the ‘booster’ vaccines. However, it appears that the public has grown weary of their repetitive tactics as even scientists continue to maintain that the variant is mild at best, and the hue and cry surrounding it can simply be avoided.

Vaccinated people show mild disease even when infected with Omicron – Scientist that discovered the new variant:

Dr Angelique Coetzee, the first doctor to alert government scientists about the possible new variant, in an interview with ANI has stated that the virus evoked a mild response in the vaccinated people.

She said, “For now, we do know that the vaccines will protect you against the disease at this stage because irrespective of age group & co-morbidities, people who have been vaccinated, have had mild disease,”

Dr Coetzee further added, “So, this is what we say. It’s milder than the Delta variant at the primary healthcare level. At the hospital level, that picture might change but these are very early days, not a lot of admissions yet at the hospitals,”

Other scientists confirm Dr Coetzee’s assessment:

Barry Schoub, chairman of the Ministerial Advisory Committee on Vaccines in South Africa echoed Dr Coetzee’s sentiments and remarked, “The cases that have occurred so far have all been mild cases, mild-to-moderate cases, and that’s a good sign.” He called the Omicron variant a blessing in disguise as “it could very well push out the much more dangerous and more stable delta strain”.

By unnecessary creating a clamour, the big pharma’s have shot themselves in the foot the majority of the public believed in the vaccines and even took them without a second thought. However, the greed to make greater profits has exposed their shoddy practices. People, aware of the science and safety practices are outrightly refusing to take the booster shots.

The hunger for profit driving pharma cos toward unethical practices:

Such has been the thirst for increasing profit margins that this year alone, the pandemic has brought in a revenue of $24.3 billion for Pfizer. But of course, these companies are now striving to maximize their profits by banking on the emergence of new variants.

Delta variant, for instance, gave these companies the fortune moment to market their booster shots. Pfizer earlier claimed people would need to be jabbed with two shots to acquire the needed immunity to eliminate the lethality of the virus.

But as soon as the Delta variant emerged, they harnessed it to deepen their pockets. This was how the “Booster shot scandal” was shoved down the throat of innocent masses.

Creating a new monster to get in business again:

However, since the delta variant was brought under control after a torrid spell in most countries, and profit graphs were starting to show a downward trend, the pharma giants thought of it as the right opportunity to market Omicron as the deadliest virus strain so far.

Moreover, by inducing the fear, companies like Pfizer have started to promote their pills which they claim to have developed to treat the covid virus. To promote their vague products, they have appointed self-proclaimed expert lobbyists in the public space.

India repeating 2nd wave errors-

👉Not going for booster

👉Not placing early order for Pfizer's highly effective antiviral pill

👉Opening everything. Cricket with audience, markets, rallies, pubs

👉NOT closing travel. Not just Africa, all international travel must be STOPPED

— Saahil Murli Menghani (@saahilmenghani) November 27, 2021

This is the same lobby, which sent the Indian population into shivers with their claims that Pfizer is the best vaccine, and the Modi government is committing a fatal mistake by not taking its shot. The same lobby had tried its very best to defame India’s own Covaxin, which later proved to be a key element in the Modi government’s success of vaccinating nearly 1 billion people within a span of nearly 365 days.

While the Omicron variant might not be as lethal as few alarmists had predicted it to be, the general public is still advised to err on the side of caution. Continue to mask up when outdoor, especially in public places, maintain good hygiene and get vaccinated if you haven’t already.

Read More: Covaxin is the only saving grace for the US and Europe. And loyalty to Pfizer will lead to their destruction

Unlike the West, the Indian public is blessed to have two vaccines that have been deemed much safer and can stand the test of different variants. And unlike the Pfizer-Moderna pharma lobby, the Indian vaccine makers are not pushing any booster shot as of now. The two-shot dose should suffice.

It is possible that this variant is more contagious and gets many more people infected, but gives only milder symptoms. The advantage with that scenario is, more and more people will get anti-body in their bodies and that would be a big plus.

Dr Mike Yeadon writes about the Pfizer vax: All you were told around a year ago was clinical trial fraud. Without the fraudulent removal from the statistical analysis of the Pfizer vaccine, instead of 93% “efficacy” instead its 19% (nothing at all, just noise). After a six month observation period, the trial data on deaths was published. I expect you think there’d be fewer deaths in the Pfizer vaccine arm compared to the control? No. It’s the other way around. ALL CAUSES MORTALITY is greater in the Pfizer vaccine arm than the control arm.
