All those who celebrated CDS Gen Bipin Rawat and wife’s tragic demise

All those who celebrated CDS Gen Bipin Rawat and wife’s tragic demise
Share on FacebookShare on X

India lost its brave heart and first Chief of Defence Staff on Wednesday (December 8) after the helicopter carrying CDS Bipin Rawat, his wife Madhulika Rawat and 12 others crashed at Tamil Nadu’s Coonoor. The crash took place shortly after the Russian-made Mi-17 V5 chopper took off from the Air Force base in Sulur, Coimbatore, for Wellington in the Nilgiri Hills.

After news of Chief of Defence staff Bipin Rawat’s accident hit the newsstands, a significant chunk of the ‘usual suspect’ populace rejoiced. Some cheered, some wished him death while some settled their scores. It’s a sad state of affairs that society is hyperpolarized to an extent that a person who spent his entire life trying to fight the monsters outside, was not demonized by them but by his own people.

The realms of social media were replete with such elements that bared themselves naked and showed their mental bankruptcy and lack of humanity. In most news stories regarding the accident, the laughing reactions came from the Muslim community and its people.

Mustafa Riaz becomes Anshul Saxena

A Mustafa Riaz from Hyderabad, studying at Osmania University tweeted, “Mar gya M*******d, ab Modi ki bari Inshallah,”

However, after Hyderabad cyber police landed under his tweet, Riaz protected his account and changed his name to Anshul Saxena whilst adding Proud Indian, RSS, and Om Shanti to avoid the heat.

One Asif, who remarked he is a Muslim in his bio and not a Hindutva fan, said there was no reason to be sad except one that someone else would take Rawat’s place. He also declared that this is like a mini-Eid for them.

Congress and its foot soldiers and their rancid thoughts

Pakistan’s B Team operating in India going by the name National Herald and its editor Sanjukta Basu shared a tone-deaf statement that showed exactly where Congress as a party was heading and what kind of editorial line the Congress mouthpiece took in case of national security.

The Rahul Gandhi fanboy replied to a tweet that called the CDS a warmongering chief, “I have been trying not to say anything, self-censoring because ok tragic death and all but yeah, just a few weeks back he excitedly supported lynching of “Kashmiri terrorist” you know. People should not wish cruel death for others. Even if they are terrorists.”

I have been trying not to say anything, self-censoring because ok tragic death and all but yeah, just few weeks back he excitedly supported lynching of "Kashmiri terrorist" you know. People should not wish cruel death for others. Even if they are terrorists.

— Dr. Sanjukta Basu, M.A., LLB., PhD (@sanjukta) December 9, 2021

Ashlin Mathew, working alongside Basu posted a tweet saying ‘Divine Intervention’, supposedly referring to the tragedy. However, after the backlash ensued, Mathew deleted the tweet.

Meanwhile, for a netizen named Ashok Singh Garcha, the Army Chief became a Sanghi Chief who betrayed the secular credentials of the country. The delusional tweeter remarked, “Sanghi Chiefs of Indian Army. Bipin Rawat and VK Singh betrayed the secular ethos of the Indian Army. They leave behind a fraternity beginning to be divided on caste and community. May their successors stop this trend.”

The reaction from Islamists and Khalistanis was expected but perhaps it was the reaction of former Indian Army officers that surprised many. One Col Baljit Bakshi (Retd.) took to Twitter and rejoiced the news of the accident of CDS.

In the now-deleted tweet, Bakshi without taking a name targeted CDS and said, “Karma has its own way of dealing with people”

Then, other senior Army officials like Lt. Col Anil Duhoon who despite donning the same uniform as CDS took the opportunity to settle scores.

General Bipin Singh Rawat, 63, took charge as India’s first CDS in January 2019. The position was set up with the aim of integrating the three services – the Army, the Navy, and the Air Force. The government has announced his successor would be picked soon. However, his sudden demise has left the country in a state of mourning. Very few love their country in the way CDS Rawat did and he will go down in the history books as the leader who took the fight to the country’s enemies in their own backyard and emerged victorious every single time.

The FB post with people mocking….. Out of 40, I checked random 12 profiles, none belongs to India. Mostly Gujarat/Punjab from Pakistan region.
Few who mention their place as Indian region , their profiles are locked.
Do doubt it’s so easy to spread hatred among Indians.

The last part of the last tweet hits the nail on the head – ‘Government inaction or courts ?’ While the former is an issue of lack of political will, the latter is a far more dangerous structural defect in our system 😓

One of the biggest mistake done by the people who wrote and passed Indian constitution was giving Blanket Immunity, unchecked Authority to Judiciary branch and that’s why we’re seeing these kind of venomous, utter nonsense by some people who knows that they can get away with any kind of crime as courts always protects them instead of punishing them and in fact courts have become safe havens and judges have become best buddies to these criminals and as long as voters don’t fix this important Authority, nothing good ever happens to this country.

Judiciary and judges have No Accountability for what so ever, and are not answerable to the citizens and they don’t like to be questioned by citizens and if anybody criticizes the judges, courts for their lame performance, same judges calls them Trolls, slaps contempt of court and puts them into jails for long time. No accountability is extremely dangerous in a democracy, and sounds like a institutionalized dictatorship.

Not just Gen. Bipin Rawat, anybody who works for this government is hated with passion by many anti-Modi people. I suspect for everybody who came out in the open revealing his/her hatred of Gen. Bipin Rawat, there must be hundreds who did not come out in open.

Consistently same gang of assholes would definitely rejoice anything that happens against the interest of India or anything could be harm the present Indian government.
No wonder or nothing new about the celebration on the tragic demise of 12 Brave soldiers along with CDS Rawat, and his wife.
But, time will come when each of these idiots shall be dealt with law of the land.
