Samriddhi Sakunia and Swarna Jha – the two journalists who tried to set Tripura ablaze

The liberal journalists, driven by their petty ideology to destabilize India, are keen on the abrahamisation of the country. While the nation is already struggling due to radical Islamists and separatists, the left journalists are adding up to it and using the Hindu-Muslim angle to run their propaganda. In such a move, they can stoop to any low to peddle their agenda. The recent development in which two journalists named Samriddhi Sakunia and Swarna Jha spread fake news to set an anti-Hindu narrative is an example of the same.

Samriddhi and Swarna’s ‘liberal’ reporting

Reportedly, Samriddhi Sakunia and Swarna Jha who work for the HW News network fabricated the truth about attacks on mosques and attempted to instigate the Muslims of Tripura. On the 11th of November, Sakunia had shared a video on Twitter in which she can be seen peddling fake news about attacks on mosques in Tripura. She wrote, “Darga Bazaar: On 19th October at around 2:30 am, some unidentified people burnt down the mosque in Darga Bazaar area. People in the neighborhood are very upset with the fact that now they don’t have any place nearby to go and pray There’s no other masjid nearby.”

Reportedly, Sakunia had also claimed that a copy of the Quran had been burnt by Hindus inside a prayer hall owned by one Rahmat Ali at Hurijala in the Kakraban police station area of Gomati district. However, after the police verified the claim, it was found that no copy of the Quran had been burnt.

Rahmat Ali, when interrogated by the police on Sunday, asserted that some documents may have been burnt in the fire that engulfed the prayer hall on 19 October. Ali added that half-burnt documents were taken away by a team from Delhi that had visited the area at the end of October.

Well, the anti-Hindu journalists did not stop here. They also visited Gomati and other Muslim-dominated localities of West Tripura, Sepahijala, and Unakoti districts to propagate the anti-Hindu ideologies. They interacted with Muslims at Paul Bazar in the Fatikroy police station area of Unakoti district to instigate them against Hindus. The shameless ‘journalists’ spat venoms against Hindus asking them to seek revenge for the alleged attacks on mosques and Muslim shops last month.

‘Journalists’ detained by Tripura Police

In order to prevent any violence in Tripura which could be triggered by fake reports of torching of mosques and attacks on Muslims, Tripura Police stepped in with the decision to arrest both the ‘journalists’. The duo was charged under Sections 153A (promoting religious enmity), 153B (publishing fake news prejudicial to national integration), 120B (party to criminal conspiracy), 193 (fabrication of evidence), 504 (deliberate provocation to break public peace), 120B (party to criminal conspiracy), and 204 (destruction of evidence) of the Indian Penal Code (IPC).

Tripura Police has claimed that Sakunia and her colleague were trying to escape. The duo crossed the interstate border at Churaibari to enter the Karimganj district of Assam. While the police came to know about the escape, they contacted their counterparts in Assam. Thereafter, the two were detained by Assam police at Nilam Bazar in Karimganj district.

However, they have been granted bail by the Chief Judicial Magistrate of Tripura’s Gomti district.

It is pertinent to note that the aftermath of attacks on Hindus in Bangladesh during Durga Pooja led to protest by Hindu organisations in Tripura. The liberal media made an opportunity of it and news of mosques being torched were circulated. Tripura Police, refuting the reports, had released photos of mosques in perfect condition, but the so-called journalists have nothing to do with the facts.

It is high time the left-liberal media instead of making their careers by peddling lies about Hindus should focus on presenting the truth on the basis of concrete facts and figures. Fueling Hindu-Muslim violence in their own country will reflect poorly on them, and eventually, they are going to fall into their own pit.

Journalists have even more responsibility to act responsibly, so book them under UAPA and don’t yield to pressures from Editors Guild.
Set the precedence with their arrest that Journalists are not above the law and also pass a law that public have right to sue Journalists and news outlets if the public have suffered due to wrong reporting.

Every journalist in India must be accountable. This isnt China, that there are restrictions on any kind of restrictions on any news that can put ruling government or country in a bad light. This doesnt mean journalists can publish and propogate what ever agenda they want. An entire bouque of fake news websites, anti India lobby backed up by social media such as Twitter is working full time to deatabilise the country of India. Right from demonetisation, GST, Tripple tallaq, Rafael, Elections, Ayodhya mandir, Corona, vaccines, China etc these anti India force have left no opportunity to throw muck on India. We recently saw how Covaxin approvals weer delayed because of our opposition parties and their false propoganda about trials. One wonders if these guys love politics more than India. Journalists are just one of the arms being used to fight government for destabilizing it via false news, mockery in social media, printing false data and news in foreign media outlets, invoking public anger against other and government. Catch the real culprits, crooked, corrupt politicians, anti India political parties and organisations such as PFI, lefts etc. By nature Abrahamics cannot tolerate a strong, rightful, Hindu leader and party. Because it united the Hindus and Hindustan. This is anti to the time, energy and investment they have made for Abrahamising this country.

You are right. The major problem is the journalists like these two who constantly instigate Muslims and portray them as victims which some gullible Muslims take seriously. Of course, there are some gullible Hindus too. as long as everybody considers this country as our country the majority of the problems will be solved.

For so many years riots have happened. Give 1 riot which was started by Hindus. If Hindu was not tolerant how has muslim population over taken that of Pakistan? Educate yourself. No Muslims have never accepted India over religion. You might definitely be an exception, i agree humbly. But the 70% to 80% of you are uneducated. Or educated in a madarsa which is as good as illiterate and being a hard liner. Unless Islam is able to reinvent, remove controversial verses, fix radical maulanas, it will put India loving Muslims in trouble. Learn to condemn the biggest difference which is even bigger than caste, that of Kafir and Momin. Why can’t Kafir go to heaven if there is one? This is not the right book to take India forward.

Using a term like Liberal for such journalists is misleading. They may like to call themselves liberal, but why a portal like TFI should use such endorsing term for such prestitutes? I know it is done with some level of sarcasm, but they don’t deserve such terms strictly as per english language meaning for the word, liberal.
