Sudhir Chaudhary’s entry into Aaj Tak has sent the liberals popping

Sudhir Chaudhary Aaj Tak

“Some people turn blind and feel jealous inside when they see your success and happiness”. You must have come across this quote at least once in a lifetime. While people do not introspect what they are doing wrong, they would rather begin spewing venom about them as they do not have any other means to belittle them. This is exactly what is happening with Sudhir Chaudhary as he is all set to join Aaj Tak as a consulting editor.

Sudhir Chaudhary resigns from Zee, joins Aaj Tak

Sudhir Chaudhary, after spending almost 10 years at the Zee network in his second stint, had formally quit Zee Media Corporation as the Editor-in-Chief CEO of Cluster 1. Sudhir Chaudhary, a veteran journalist, joined Zee during the beginning of his career but left in 2003 to join Sahara Samay. In 2012, he returned to Zee News and gained love and support from the audience for his show Daily News & Analysis (DNA), which is one of the highest-rated shows on Hindi news channels.

Zee Media, in a statement, stated, “This is to formally inform that Sudhir Chaudhury, CEO Cluster 1 has resigned from his services at Zee Media Corporation Limited with immediate effect. Since Sudhir has inclination to start his own venture, it is with a heavy heart that Zee Media has accepted it.”

However, days after resigning from Zee News, Sudhir Chaudhary will join Aaj Tak as a ‘Consulting Editor.’ Kalli Puri, India Today Group’s Vice-Chairperson, confirmed his induction through e-mail. “I know the mills have been hyperactive and this announcement should give a closure 🙂 The natural home for a household name in news is always Aaj Tak! He has one of the largest followings on social media and a galaxy of awards from every reputable organisation,” Purie wrote. “I am glad he has taken a call that will not disappoint his fans who are paramount for him.”

Sudhir Chaudhary is believed to host a new programme on Aaj Tak. Notably, he is collaborating with Aaj Tak to target 100 million viewers.

Liberals’ meltdown is worth watching

While people are heaping praises on Sudhir Chaudhary and congratulating him for a new journey, there are few journalists, or I would say, liberal journalists, who are crying hoarse. And why wouldn’t they?  I mean it is obvious for them to have heartbreak as once a junior to them is reaching new heights every day while they are forced to deal with their regular life.

Do you know which liberal journalist is the most hurt? Well, it is Ajit Anjum. Anjum, former managing editor of INDIA TV and NEWS 24, took to Twitter to target Chaudhary and wrote, “The tape of the sting of ‘Vasuli Chaudhary’ was seen in the meeting of TV editors in Aaj Tak’s office itself. The committee of three editors including Rahul Kanwal decided that it was a case of straight blackmailing. In any case, Recovery Choudhary should be removed from the editorial body. In the same Aaj Tak, he has descended from the palanquin.”

'वसूली चौधरी' के स्टिंग का टेप आजतक के ऑफिस में ही टीवी संपादकों की मीटिंग में देखा गया था.राहुल कंवल समेत तीन संपादकों की कमेटी ने तय पाया कि ये सीधे सीधे ब्लैकमेलिंग का मामला है.हर हाल में वसूली चौधरी को संपादकों की संस्था से निकाला जाना चाहिए.
उसी आजतक में पालकी से उतरे हैं.

— Ajit Anjum (@ajitanjum) July 11, 2022

In the next tweet, Ajit wrote, “When this recovery Choudhary was caught in the sting of 100 crores, a meeting of BEA was called. Everyone was very excited in that meeting. This shameless man was ever saying that we had called Jindal’s man for the sting, sometimes he was saying that people talk for business. Everyone was surprised at his shamelessness.”

Then entered Abhisar Sharma in the picture. He was also pained by the induction of Sudhir Chaudhary into Aaj Tak. This was quite evident when he first retweeted Ajit Anjum’s tweet and then referred to him as ‘Tihar return Patrakar’.

He is the same journalist who is linked to a Chinese-funded portal called NewsClick. The portal is involved in a money laundering case in which the promoters of the media outlet received Rs 38 crore from China’s CCP.

Next in the cue is an organisation like Newslaundry which, in the name of ground reporting, has been peddling its agenda. Atul Chaurasia, Executive Editor of Newslaundry, too retweeted Ajit Anjum’s tweet and wrote, “Tihar Shiromani has joined Aaj Tak. Read this thread of Shiromani’s exploits on this occasion.”

You see, the liberal media portals and journalists are fuming with anger as they did not really like Chaudhary’s promotion and they are helpless. What is a helpless person supposed to do? Well, he’ll be envious of others’ success. There is nothing we can do to reduce their pain and we thus, sympathise, with these journalists and portals.
