Malala Yousafzai could not even marry without being a hypocrite

Malala, hypocrite

Nobel Peace Prize winner Malala Yousafzai recently tied the knot with guess who? It’s none other than Pakistan Cricket Board’s manager Asser Malik! Announcing her wedding to Malik on Twitter, Malala wrote, “Today marks a precious day in my life. Asser and I tied the knot to be partners for life. We celebrated a small nikkah ceremony at home in Birmingham with our families”. Soon, the world was congratulating Malala Yousafzai, who we at TFI like to call a fake, duplicitous star, whose life thrives on a PR extravaganza. But Pakistanis are not happy with Malala’s marriage. They have dug up an interview she gave to the British Vogue, and exposed Malala for her hypocrisy on yet another front.

In June this year, Malala told Vogue, “I still don’t understand why people have to get married. If you want to have a person in your life, why do you have to sign marriage papers, why can’t it just be a partnership?”

At the age of 15, Malala was shot at in the head by the Taliban, in October 2012. She was flown to the UK to receive treatment. In 2014, she won the Nobel Peace Prize at the age of 17, becoming the youngest laureate of the prize. Last year, she graduated from Oxford University with a degree in Philosophy, Politics and Economics. Obviously, according to the Pakistani mindset, it only made sense for her to get married now.

Malala Yousafzai is an anti-India activist who thrives on Twitter on the basis of moral grandstanding and virtue signalling. In 2019, after the abrogation of Article 370, Malala wrote, “I am deeply concerned about reports of 4,000 people, including children, arbitrarily arrested & jailed, about students who haven’t been able to attend school for more than 40 days, about girls who are afraid to leave their homes.” She added, “I am asking leaders, at #UNGA and beyond, to work towards peace in Kashmir, listen to Kashmiri voices and help children go safely back to school.”

Ironically, Malala does not have the courage to stand up to the Pakistani terror state, although she has the strongest spine when it comes to peddling nonsense about countries which she knows pose no threat to her.

The Taliban are famed to have shot Malala in the head. Yet, she is the same person, who, out of fear of Islamists, pleaded with then President Barack Obama to rethink on drone attacks that the USA used to kill terrorists, in Taliban-controlled areas of Pakistan. She stressed on the point that educating terrorists can solve the terrorism issue.

Malala’s marriage is her yet another tryst with hypocrisy and cowardice. From considering marriages as being useless and as an imposition, to marrying a Pakistani terror state functionary, Malala has really exposed herself this time.
