On Tuesday, Defense Minister Rajnath Singh made some remarks which drove liberals, the opposition, and most importantly – Marxist ‘distorians’ into a spate of successive panic attacks. As ministers of the Modi government begin stating facts from unbiased sources, and quote actual historians who have evidence to back their assertions – the Marxist clique of historians have begun seeing their monopoly collapsing like a house of cards. Rajnath Singh targeted the critics of Veer Savarkar, saying the freedom fighter was being defamed over his supposed mercy petitions. He said, “Lies were spread about Savarkar.”

Rajnath Singh said, “Time and again, it was said that he filed mercy petitions before the British government seeking his release from jail…The truth is, he didn’t file mercy petitions to get himself released. It is a regular practice for a [jailed] person to file mercy petitions. It was Mahatma Gandhi who asked him to file mercy petitions.” He stressed on an important fact, and said, “Mahatma Gandhi had back then said that Savarkar should be released. The way we are carrying out a peaceful movement to gain freedom, Sarvarkarji should also be allowed to do the same.”

Describing Savarkar as a “national icon“, Singh said critics are trying to “defame” Sarvarkar and that the allegations levelled against him are “baseless”. The Defense Minsiter was speaking at the launch of a book on Savarkar – ‘Veer Savarkar: The Man Who Could Have Prevented Partition’, authored by Uday Mahurkar and Chirayu Pandit.

Vikram Sampath Has Debunked Lies About Veer Savarkar

Historian and acclaimed author Vikram Sampath has written a series-styled biography of Veer Savarkar, whose two parts are titled, ‘Savarkar: Echoes from A Forgotten Past, 1883-1924 (Part 1)’ and ‘Savarkar (Part 2): A Contested Legacy 1924-1966.’ Vikram Sampath is a leading historian who through his works, is on a mission to revolutionise Indian history telling, apart from destroying the false narratives carved by Marxist historians, especially around Veer Savarkar.

So, when Rajnath Singh made the remarks about Veer Savarkar, an entire lobby of liberals and Marxists rose up in arms, and began taking shots at Vikram Sampath. However, Sampath – backed by facts and concrete evidence, tore right through their lies.

Some needless brouhaha abt statement by @rajnathsingh In my Vol 1 & in countless interviews I had stated already that in 1920 Gandhiji advised Savarkar brothers to file a petition & even made a case for his release through an essay in Young India 26 May 1920. So what's noise abt? pic.twitter.com/FWfAHoG0MX

— Dr. Vikram Sampath, FRHistS (@vikramsampath) October 13, 2021

"Eminent Historian" 👇🤦🤦 Documentary proof 👇👇👇
Why do they shame themselves in public day in and day out & still demand respect for themselves?? You need to earn respect by doing some quality work, shouldn't you ? https://t.co/tgAlhJIGj9 pic.twitter.com/I0L342RS7Z

— Dr. Vikram Sampath, FRHistS (@vikramsampath) October 13, 2021

In his first book on Veer Savarkar, Vikram Sampath has actually provided the text of the letter written by Mohandas Karamchand Gandhi to Veer Savarkar’s brother – Narayanrao Savarkar, where he pretty much suggests that Vinayak Damodar Savarkar takes up the cause of his release with British authorities personally.

It must be remembered that a cornerstone of Indian liberals and Marxist historians attacking the ‘right wing’ and Savarkar supporters is that the freedom fighter wrote clemency petitions to the British colonisers, asking them for mercy. Yet, now that it has been revealed he did so in a respectable manner on the insistence of Gandhi, the same ‘historians’ and their jingoists are behaving like their pants are on fire.

The Modus operandi of Marxist Distorians

Marxist historians have a knack for discounting Hindu history, if not giving a complete miss to it in school and college textbooks. The indoctrination of students towards believing that Indian history begins and ends with Islamic rule over the country, is started at schools itself. Forces which resisted Islamic rule, and which protected India, leading it to become the only civilisation which the Islamist marauders could not proselytise, are given insufficient credit, if at all. Meanwhile, they distort the facts to suit their own narrative, even in the miniscule portions that are reserved for such bravehearts.

The Cholas, Vijayanagar empire, Ahoms and practically everyone who represented the best of India are given a complete miss by Marxist historians. In fact, this gang of historians also fabricates facts and evidence to solidify their own beliefs, which are taught to students across the country. Furthermore, the British retelling of India is given much more importance than it actually deserves. The best example of how Marxist historians distort history is, of course, the Ram Janmabhooomi dispute, which has now been resolved.

These individuals wanted an entire country to believe that a Ram Mandir never actually existed, and that the Babri Masjid was supposedly built over vacant land. The Supreme Court demolished such lies when it gave a unanimous verdict in favour of Hindus, leading to the Ram Mandir now being built in Ayodhya.

Vikram Sampath – A Threat to Marxist Distorians and their Industry of Lies

Vikram Sampath is a man who in the most elegant manner, can destroy Marxist historians and expose their lies rather seamlessly. He is emerging as one of the most trusted voice among historians, and his work is receiving admiration from several quarters. As was seen at the India Today Conclave recently, Sampath has shown the ability to cut through the falsities and hypocrisy of conventional left-leaning historians effortlessly, leaving the listeners spellbound.

So, an entire industry now seems to be up in arms against Vikram Sampath, and a campaign is being waged to discredit the historian, while painting him as a bigoted, pro-Hindutva fascist. According to Twitter user Soumyadipta, “furious financial negotiations are on with a Wikipedia editing company to manipulate” Vikram Sampath’s Wikipedia page. Additionally, a left-leaning publication is also reportedly working towards publishing a piece, penned by a Marxist historian, to discredit Vikram Sampath, which will eventually be used by Wikipedia editors to vandalise his page.

Already flags are placed on his Wiki profile calling it biased in favour of Vikram. What does this mean?
This is a dog-whistle for LW Wikipedia editors to start working on Vikram.
Why haven't they succeeded till now?
Because there's scarce material "against" Vikram in the media. pic.twitter.com/hjnkL3oib9

— Soumyadipta (@Soumyadipta) October 13, 2021

They need a LW magazine or a news site to paint Vikram black.
One LW news magazine has agreed but the problem is, given Vikram's stature, a well-known historian needs to counter his views.
A historian has agreed & will soon start writing the article. Editorial discussions are on.

— Soumyadipta (@Soumyadipta) October 13, 2021

As is evident, a campaign is now being waged against Vikram Sampath, because he has the potential to destroy Marxist historians and render them unemployed and redundant in the India of 2021. Such plans, of course, will not work. The time to tell Indian history the right way has come, and there is absolutely nobody who can stop the revolution now.

Vikram Sampath is too soft spoken, instead Sai Deepk brilliantly can shut the India’s Marxist historians in just few minutes.
