Meaning and full form of VAO: village administration officer. He is the head of the village administration. It is the power to maintain the collection and disbursement of income in the village. Qualification of preselected members is eligible for any government program.

Rs. 5,200 – 20,200 / – + 2,400- G.P (Pay range – 1)

VAO promotion scale
Candidates shortlisted / recruited as VAO by will be promoted Assistant after 6 years of service. You will need to pass a departmental exam to get a job as an assistant in the revenue department.
Eligibility to apply for VAO
Applicants must have the following qualification or its equivalent on the date of notification. Must have a minimum general education qualification, i.e. Must have passed the S.S.L.C public exam or its equivalent with eligibility for admission to upper secondary or college courses.
Note: Candidates who have not passed the S.S.L.C exam or its equivalent are not eligible, even if they have a higher score.
