Shashank Ketkar (born September 15, 1985) is a Marathi theater and television actor, working primarily in the Marathi Industry. He was born in Pune, Maharashtra.
Shashank Ketkar – Career and Education
Shashank completed Masters in engineering management from Australia. He is best known for his acting in the Marathi television series Honar Sun Me Hya Gharchi as Shri and Sukhanchya Sarini He Mann Baware.
Shashank Ketkar started his career as a theater actor and has been active in the show business since 2012. With his new Marathi series Pahile Na Mi Tula back to the small screen. His first play was named Purnaviraam (period).
The actor is currently starring in a Marathi series Pahile Na Mi Tula, starring Tanvi Mundé and Ashay Kulkarni. Shashank Ketkar made his television debut in the TV series Kalay Tasmay Namah on ETV Marathi, in which he played the role of Kailas, the grandson of Vikram Gokhale.
He also starred in other Marathi series such as Itek Taka Tambu in Zi Yuva, Rang Maaza Vegala in Sam Marathi, which was his first major role. During his stay in Sydney for studies, Shashank Ketkar participated in productions and performances. Marathi music program organized by cultural groups. The actor then made his debut in One Way Ticket (2016). His other movie projects include 31 Divas, Aaron and Goshta Eka Paithanichi.

Ketkar’s Achievements
In 2013, at the Zee Marathi Awards, Shashank Ketkar won the Best Actor and Best Couple Awards with his partner, who played his wife Janhavi in the show Honar Sun Hya Gharchi. Shashank won the Best Actor and Best Couple Awards (Anushri-Siddhart) in the Colors Marathi Awards (2019) with the TV series “Sukhanchya Sarini He Mann Baware“.
He also won the Best Supporting Actor Award with Goshta Tashi Gamtichi at the 2015 MICTA Awards and Akhil Bharatiya Marathi Natya Parishad Award. He won the Garnier Nature Performance Award for playing Samara in Pakhile Na Mi Tula at the 2021 Zee Marathi Awards.
Shashak Ketkar – Personal Life
Shashank was born to Shirish Ketkar and Shilpa Ketkar. His first wife was Tejashri Pradhan from 2014-15. Tejaswi Pradhan was his co-star in Honar Sun Hya Gharchi. Shashak is currently married to Priyanka Dhawale, a lawyer. The couple tied the knot in 2017 and have a toddler Rugved Ketkar.
