Ever since Sameer Wankhede, Zonal Director of the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) has arrested Bollywood actor Shahrukh Khan’s son Aryan Khan off the Cordelia cruise ship in a drug case, he has become the collective target of the left-liberal mob and the Nationalist Congress Party leader Nawab Malik. Whereas Nawab Malik has been attacking Wankhede by making baseless accusations, NCB has shown its firm support to the latter.
“No action against Wankhede”- The NCB
Nawab Malik, while interacting with the media, claimed that he has received a letter from an unnamed official of the Narcotics Control Bureau in which the 26 instances of “fake cases” allegedly registered by the NCB Mumbai Zonal Director and close associates are mentioned.
In a major blow to Malik, NCB stepped in with the decision to stand by Wankhede’s side and said, “No action will be initiated on the anonymous letter (containing allegations against NCB Mumbai Zonal Director Sameer Wankhede) forwarded by Maharashtra Minister & NCP leader Nawab Malik to Director General of NCB as per guidelines of Central Vigilance Commission.”
Here are the contents of the letter received by me from an unnamed NCB official.
As a responsible citizen I will be forwarding this letter to DG Narcotics requesting him to include this letter in the investigation being conducted on Sameer Wankhede pic.twitter.com/SOClI3ntAn— Nawab Malik نواب ملک नवाब मलिक (@nawabmalikncp) October 26, 2021
Additionally, NCB has summoned Prabhakar Sail for interrogation after he came out with some shocking revelations and accused Wankhede of taking extortion money.
Prabhakar Sail (40), whose selfie with Aryan Khan went viral in a video, had asserted that he is “scared of Wankhede” and for his life as the NCB officials has his signatures on blank papers. Prabhakar said, “There was discussion of a bribe to Sameer Wankhede…I collected Rs 50 lakh in cash.”

Allegations against Wankhede
It seems like Nawab Malik is considering it as his duty to expose Sameer Wankhede whom he keeps targeting on various grounds. In a recent development, he posted ‘Nikah Nama’ of NCB official’s alleged first marriage. He claimed that the ‘Nikah’ between Sameer Dawood Wankhede and Dr Sabana Qureshi was performed on December 7, 2006, at the Lokhand Wala complex in Mumbai’s Andheri (west). He has accused Wankhede of using fake birth and caste certificates to secure his government job.
Earlier, Nawab Malik had attacked the NCB officer stating that he was in the Maldives during the lockdown when many Bollywood personalities were travelling to the same destination. It was there that he conducted an extortion racket, according to Malik. The NCP leader also alleged that the officer is acting at the behest of the BJP to discredit the Maharashtra government.
It is pertinent to note that Malik has left no stone unturned to bring political angles in the Aryan’s drug case. However, Malik hounding Wankhede is not an out-of-the-blue incident. Reportedly, Samir Khan, son-in-law of the NCP leader, had been in the custody of NCB since January 9 for procuring drugs from the US by a British national named Karan Sajnani.
Wankhede has also filed cases against more than 2000 celebrities for not paying tax in customs. He is a classic example of an honest government employee who is only trying to do his job. Thus, it was foreseeable that the unholy nexus of Bollywood and Maharashtra goons masquerading as politicians were going to come after him.
