They became engaged on December 1, 2011 and married on June 14, 2012 at Temple Trees Farmhouse. Their families knew each other and approved of their relationship.

She attained her degree from International business marketing & management from Regent’s University, London. Upasana received Mahatma Gandhi award for leadership in corporate social responsibility and dada Phalke Award as Philanthropist of the year in the tear 2019.
