As Islamists’ strengthen their hold on Afghanistan and Pakistan, the intolerance lobby of artists and other five-star activists are going silent on them as usual. Earlier, the Statue of Maharaja Ranjit Singh was vandalized by Islamists in Lahore. In an ideal world, this event should have infuriated the Sikh community all around the world, and especially in India, as Maharaja Ranjit Singh is considered an ideal for Sikhs. Sher-e-Punjab would never have thought that his successors in Punjab would become subservient to the same people whom he fought and drove away during his time.
In an ever-present pattern of surrendering to the demands of Radical Islamist elements, opportunist and greedy Punjabi Singer, actor, and producer Ammy Virk has surrendered to the demand of a Muslim Imam. He had made a movie named Sufna in which a song named – ‘Qubool A’ mentioned the word Rasool.
AMMY Virk Chickens out
Ammy was accused of hurting religious sentiments by Naib Shahi Imam of Jama Masjid, Maulana Muhammad Usman Rahmani. He objected to the use of the word Rasool. He said- “in Islam, the last Messenger of Allah, Hazrat Muhammad Sallallahu Alaihi Waslam, has given the highest status to and whenever the word Rasool is used, it meant that there is a decree of Hazrat Muhammad”. Adding further, he said – “the songs of the film Sufna, sung by Ammy Virk have hurt the sentiments of the Muslim community across the world”. He even advocated for registering an FIR under Section 295A of IPC and threatened the Government and public administration of a rally. Fearing the backlash of the Islamoleftist cabal present in the Indian media and entertainment space, Ammy Virk and the lyricist of the song Jaani caved in and apologized to the Muslim community of the country. Apologizing on Instagram, they wrote- “My sincere apologies for being niece and hurting the sentiments of many by the lyrics of my Qubool A (released in 2020) I had no intention to hurt religious sentiments and I wish I was aware of the interpretation before putting those lyrics in the song. If I knew I would have never done it. We have taken down that song as soon as we realized how it could be interpreted which we were not aware of and changed the lyrics. May almighty forgive me and others involved in the song for not realizing it could be hurtful. Once again my sincere apologies.”

In a symbolic burial of creative freedom, Ammy, Jaani and Pinki Dhaliwal went on to meet Shahi Imam and clarified their positions in person. Shahi Imam officially forgave them while sermonising a hypocritical lecture about ‘unity in diversity of India.
This is the same Ammy Virk who had come out against the progressive farm laws of the country. He had tried to direct the emotions of his naive fan following into creating discontent in the people of the country. He was hailed by the liberal media for supporting the farmers. The same liberal media went completely silent when his freedom of speech was being hounded by the Islamists.
Freedom of speech ends when it comes to Islam
This is not the first time when activists, singers, Bollywood stars, writers, directors have succumbed to the Islamists lobby. Apologizing to Islamists has been a significant aspect of cancel culture. Singer Rihanna, a child labour exploiter and a fake activist of fake farmers’ protest, had to apologize for using the Muslim text ‘Hadith’ in a song. Similarly, Islam Sympathiser BBC had to apologize for using the picture of Muhammad in a video. Similarly, in August 2021, Taliban sympathizer NDTV had to take down a tweet just because Islamists did not want to see a Muslim man going through the COVID test. These apologies come off as small incidents if we see what Rajiv Gandhi did in the event of Shah Bano case Judgement. Kneeling down to Islamists, the father of Mr Rahul Gandhi had overturned the Supreme Court judgement by passing a law in favour of Radical Islamists.
The Champion of Free Speech @BBCHindi apologised to Raza Academy for displaying the portrait of Prophet Mohd in a Video. Raza Academy earlier approached CP Mumbai for action against BBCHindi.
Video has been deleted.

If trends are anything to go by, then we can safely say that the fight for freedom of expression, freedom to dissent is limited to freedom to abuse nationalistic Government and India, the moment you decide to go against Islamists, you will be completely silenced.
If some modern-day Gandhi had been singing a ‘Bhajan’, Ishwar-Allah Tero Naam, he would have been hounded by the Islamists of today.
