After the communists, Congress and other opposition parties took a shot at milking the Lakshadweep issue, an actress named Aisha Sultana has been parachuted into the controversy as the new face of the Islamists.
Reportedly, in a TV interview, the Lakshadweep-based actor levelled some serious accusations against the central government, bordering on the lines of sedition. Sultana remarked that the Union government had unleashed the COVID-19 pandemic as a bioweapon in the archipelago.
“Before centre took care, Lakshadweep had 0 cases of COVID-19. Now, it is reporting a daily spike of 100 cases. What the centre has deployed is a bioweapon. I can say this clearly that the central government has deployed bioweapon against the people of Lakshadweep,” said Sultana in Malayalam during the debate on Media One.

According to a report by Kerala Kaumudi, BJP Yuva Morcha state secretary Adv BG Vishnu has lodged a complaint against Aisha Sultana at the Thiruvananthapuram Cantonment police station.
“Aisha Sultana is aware that a petition filed in the High Court against the guidelines issued by the Lakshadweep Administrator on controlling the spread of Covid disease in the island has been rejected. Yet she is knowingly spreading false propaganda,” Vishnu said.

While Sultana falsely tried to pin the blame for the surge in cases on the centre and pointed to a conspiracy theory, the fact of the matter is that the previous governments never developed the health infrastructure of Lakshadweep which has been tested to the hilt amidst the second wave.
Actress Aisha Sultana said that Govt of India deployed coronavirus as a bioweapon in Lakshadweep.
6 days ago, Samajwadi Party MP ST Hasan said that India is facing second wave of Covid-19 & cyclones because govt interfered in Sharia law.

Aisha’s statements come a week after the Congress party prince Rahul wrote a letter to Prime Minister Narendra Modi and called the officials bringing the new reforms as anti-people. “The administrator has unilaterally proposed sweeping changes without duty consulting elected representatives or the public. The people of Lakshadweep are protesting against these arbitrary actions,” wrote Rahul in the letter.
Among the policies of the new administration that are being opposed are: banning candidates with more than two children from contesting Panchayat polls, the removal of illegal storage facilities along the coast, and the strict order to boat owners against leasing/renting their boats to individuals without proper permission from authorities.
Besides, Patel has also given a nod to allow the opening of liquor bars on the island, to promote tourism. Further, he has also proposed to bring in a beef ban and eliminate non-vegetarian food from the menu of Anganwadi children whilst also citing animal preservation as one of the reasons for the ban.
Terming public worry about their land being taken for developmental work as “misplaced and other people’s agenda”, Patel has earlier remarked that “nothing like this will happen whilst questioning.” “Why is it that people are waiting to go to the Maldives, but are not even willing to come to Lakshadweep? It is to develop tourism and for long term benefits that we are introducing the LDAR.” Patel was quoted as saying by the Print.
Despite having a Muslim population of over 96 per cent on the archipelago — the Islamist and communists continue to claim that Patel is trying to undermine the ‘Islamic character’ of Lakshadweep. Simply put, these armchair crusaders want the public of Lakshadweep to languish in a bygone era, amidst poverty, failing healthcare setup and lack of opportunities.
Patel dared to change that and in return, he has received a bucketful of hate and backlash. And now, the centre is being accused of ‘biological warfare’ by an actress, most possibly enrolled on the payroll of vested-interest groups, looking to peddle their inherently anti-India agenda.
