Abduction and conversion of Sikh girls is a wake up for the Sikh community against siding with Islamists

After the demon of secularism and Love Jihad stared at the Sikh community right in the face, even the most hypocritical of community leaders have started demanding a ‘Love Jihad’ law on the lines of one introduced in Uttar Pradesh and Madhya Pradesh. Reportedly, after two Sikh girls (one minor) were abducted, converted to Islam and married off to Muslim men, Shiromani Akali Dal leader Manjinder Singh Sirsa, requested the central government to implement a strong law anti-conversion law.

“I am at Srinagar joining the protest with local Sikh community against forced Nikah and conversions of Sikh daughters who are forced to marry elderly of different religion. I urge Govt of India to take stern action against such kind of Nikah happening in the valley.” tweeted Sirsa.

It is imperative to note that Sirsa was one of the many leaders across the country that had taken dig at the UP government for introducing the legislation against Love Jihad. Sirsa, drenched in his hatred for Hindus had remarked in a rather mocking way that Hinduism was a weak religion that it needed a law to save itself.

“How is your religion (Hinduism) so weak that they need help of law to save their religion? Having this kind of religion is a sin in itself. That means there are flaws in your religion. You must remove these flaws in your religion. The ones who are religious leaders have flaws, remove them.”

I hope DSGMC President, Manjinder Singh Sirsa will withdraw his shameful statements targeting the Hindu faith when commenting on Uttar Pradesh’s interfaith marriage law because today, he wants the same law to be implemented in Kashmir to prevent Islamic conversions of Sikh women. pic.twitter.com/dE1ohZqf88

During the anti-CAA protests and the farmers protest, members of the Sikh community by and large sided with the Islamists, often inviting them to the Gurudwaras to recite the prayers, served them biryanis and walked shoulder to shoulder.

Such solidarity was indeed novel for many, as the illustrious and murderous history of Mughal rulers against Sikh leaders was something that was forgotten by the new age champions of the Sikh community. There is no problem in siding with a particular community on specific issues but when the solidarity is borne out of hatred for the majority, then that is where the line needs to be drawn. Unfortunately, some members of the Sikh community had blurred the lines.

However, as awe-inspiring the love for Sikhs was for Islamists, it was once again one sided while the other minority community, leeched off the support. While the Sikhs supported the Islamists, none of the Islamic leaders have come out and condemned the conversion of two Sikh girls. Forget condemning, not a single Islamic leader has raised his hand and even joined Sirsa in solidarity.

A desperate Sirsa was seen coaxing and appealing the Islamic leaders that he had cheered for the past one and a half year to come out and support him.

“I request local leaders of Srinagar and Mullanas & Muftis to come in support of Sikh daughters Sikhs were at the forefront ensuring Muslim daughters reach home safely during CAA protests but no Muslim leader has come to raise voice against forced conversions of Sikh girls” said Sirsa at the protest.

If love jihad was indeed a figment of imagination then the southern states, supposedly the most literate and educated Homosapien species across India would not have sounded the bugle on its menace.

As reported by TFI, Kerala’s biggest Church, the Syro-Malabar Church had raised the alarms last year by claiming that Christian girls were being targeted and killed in the name of love jihad.

In November last year, to counter the growing threat of love jihad, the Syro Malabar Church of Kerala announced that it will issue guidelines to all bishops, strictly instructing them to ensure that all interfaith marriages involving Christian women and men are solemnised while strictly adhering to ‘Canon Laws’, failing which they might even be declared null and void.

Love Jihad is real, make no qualms about it. The abduction and conversion of Sikh girls is a wake up for the Sikh community against siding with Islamists.

All these Sikhs, supporting Khalistan with the help of Pakistan have to look at the population of Sikhs in Pakistan at the time of partition and now. They will realize that Muslims were never well-wishers of Sikhs. They just as ‘Kaffirs” in their eyes as the Hindus (and Christians) are.

All religious conversions, before the age of 21, should be considered forced and therefore illegal, not-valid and void. Because, before the age of 21 a person does not have enough understanding and thorough knowledge of any religion to be able to decide to convert. Hence conversion before age 21 should be considered void even through forced marriages and other methods. There should be a law for this and those trying to convert before age 21 should be considered to be committing a crime and therefore jailed for a minimum period of 10 years.
