Disha Ravi is a vegan, sole bread earner, animal lover and a kid basically everything but not a scheming anti-national that she is

Disha Ravi, liberal

Immediately after the arrest of the “21-year-old climate activist” Disha Ravi from Bengaluru on charges of sedition, criminal conspiracy and promoting hatred, the left-liberal cabal has gone into an overdrive mode to create a messiah figure out of her.

Disha Ravi, arrested by CyPAD Delhi Police, is an Editor of the Toolkit Google Doc & key conspirator in document's formulation & dissemination. She started WhatsApp Group & collaborated to make the Toolkit doc. She worked closely with them to draft the Doc. @PMOIndia @HMOIndia https://t.co/e8QGkyDIVv

As is the case with the arrest of most leftists — the usual suspects of the coterie came out and started to use the emotional card to guilt the public into thinking that law enforcement agencies had wrongfully apprehended Disha.

Rana Ayyub, the torchbearer of the left-liberal cabal in the country who can even paint the Red Fort siege as a peaceful protest by the farmers went several notches ahead in her support of Disha Ravi. Instead of playing the old trick of gaining emotional sympathy, the Washington Post guest propagandist called for the US President Joe Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris to intervene.

“There needs to be global outrage over the arrest of Disha Ravi. This is not an aberration, this is the new norm for the Worlds largest democracy. We are turning into a dictatorship. Your silence will enable this @POTUS @KamalaHarris” tweeted the Tehelka alumnus.

The liberals are sympathising with Disha Ravi, are constantly using her age, her grandfather’s farming background, and the fact that she is the sole breadwinner of a family consisting of a single mother. Well, surely that is emotional but the law of land doesn’t operate by sharing the same sentiments. And even if the public wanted to take the left seriously, how can they do so when for them Burhan Vani was merely the son of a school headmaster and not a dangerous terrorist.

Sitaram Yechury, the CPI (Marxist) leader was another left-liberal to come out in support of Disha who very cunningly was described as the granddaughter of a farmer. Yechury was trying to kill two birds with one stone – evoke the farmers’ protests by calling Disha’s grandfather a farmer and simultaneously grease the brownie of Social Justice Warrior activism by battling for her.

“Modi regime thinks by arresting a grand daughter of farmers, under Sedition, it can weaken the farmers’ struggles. In fact, it will awaken the youth of the country and strengthen the struggles for democracy,” tweeted Comrade Sitaram Yechury.

Then came Karuna Nandy and like a stale recipe, resorted to calling Disha, the daughter of a single mother. “21 year old climate activist, Disha Ravi, has been arrested for sharing a social media toolkit in support of the Farmer’s Protest. Disha’s the daughter of a single mother. Allegations of criminality are ludicrous, to arrest in such a case more so,” tweeted Karuna.

We still don’t have clear details on whether Disha Ravi has been detained or arrested by Delhi Police.

But the young climate activist surely has clarity on what it means to dissent in India. pic.twitter.com/P1TS2vTtnF

— Supriya Sharma (@sharmasupriya) February 14, 2021

Newspapers who usually proclaim to be non-partisan and champion the cause of neutrality showed their leftist fangs in their full glory by dedicating entire pages to prove Disha innocent. Times of India led from the front in this crusade.

https://twitter.com/AnantRangaswami/status/1361151406049091586

The left brigade which took pride in setting up the narratives has surprisingly become lax and unimaginative in coming up with novel ways to defend its ilk. The usual charade of evoking the age, the humble background of Disha’s family is a script as stale as a 90’s Bollywood commercial masala mix whose reboot the current audience absolutely detests watching.

Waiz Ul Islam was merely 18 years old when he was ordered to procure chemical material for IED to be used in #Pulwama suicide bombing, the terror attack which killed 40 CRPF soldiers. Just saying. The age argument doesn’t really always work in criminal investigation.

As long as kids of others do the 'revolution' for you..

Very rarely you will see kids of leftist leaders, urban naxals themselves doing mindless protests on roads.. they are all well settled professionals in India or outside..

This is how they use others as canon fodder.. pic.twitter.com/76YCmQ64r3

— Keh Ke Peheno (@coolfunnytshirt) February 15, 2021

According to some esteemed folks on TV debates, it’s because they needed a job, and they signed up for it. (Just the thinnest line short of ‘they were asking for it.’) https://t.co/uYakxjOoNf

— Gowri (@aliceonaroll) February 15, 2021

As reported by News 18, during the investigation, the police found that Disha had expressed fears of being charged under the anti-terror law, Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act in her conversation with Greta Thunberg. The Delhi Police are also probing Disha’s Gmail to unearth the email conversation between her and other accused.

https://twitter.com/CNNnews18/status/1361235100680261632

Disha Ravi seems to be in huge trouble and the leftist cabal is scared that the youngster might just give up the names of big fish of the game after being put under pressure. Thus the incessant there is an urge to peddle her age, family background, and her food eating habits. However, the police are continuing with their investigation unperturbed and the truth is likely to come out in due time.

So Disha Ravi is hated because she is a vegan, sole bread earner and an animal lover? TFI – get your act straight. Please change the headline. A lot of us non Disha Ravi’s are vegans, sole bread earners and animal lovers too. Or is that wrong these days? I suppose TFI – Hindoos are too busy to read the first line of BG 12.13.

Oh a$$h*le – Disha Ravi is / was not hated because she is “vegan, sole bread earner & an animal activist”. She is hated because SHE IS A BLOODY TRAITOR, SHE SCHEMES / PLANS AGAINST TO DESTROY THE VERY COUNTRY SHE WAS BORN IN, LIVES IN, EARNS IN & SHITS IN. GET THIS FACT INTO YOUR THICK SKULL YOU LEFTIST / COMMUNIST / MAOIST.

It is the Leftist media that pointed out these qualities of Disha, claiming because of these qualities she should be forgiven for any and all her crimes. Didn’t she predict that she could be charged under UAPA?

      Reply to BvB09 & Harry:
Yes, dear BvB09, it does seem you’ve been in haste while reading this article and posting your comment. You might not have really meant &/or intended to end up on the side you actually find yourself. Don’t you really see that Mahima Kalra, this article’s author, says that the liberalists flourish their “incessant… urge to peddle her age, family background, and her food eating habits”, in order “to guilt the public into thinking that law enforcement agencies had wrongfully apprehended Disha”.

What Harry says is the same. He’s only highlighting why “law enforcement agencies had” RIGHTFULLY “apprehended Disha”.

    • Muradi says:

Correction: Muradi, Para 2, End words: Please read as:
      “… wrongfully apprehended Disha”?

Supreme court must pass a law to ban anybody (individuals, politicians, parties, Journalists, Media houses, Activists and all citizens) on matters and cases under process of investigation by law enforcement offices and or courts and punish them up to 7 years of jail time for any violators of this law.
