It seems that the only job of Naseeruddin Shah is to spew venom from the mouth, especially against the Indian government and Indian culture. In his recent statement, Mr Shah has lambasted the stars of the film industry, those who made statements promoting the unity and integrity of India.
In an unceremonious rant against the Bollywood stars who opposed foreign rhetoric on agricultural legislation, Naseeruddin said, “The big guns of our film industry are sitting silent. Because they think a lot can be lost. Hey brother, when you have earned so much money that your 7 books can sit and eat, how much will you lose?”
But this was just the beginning because Naseeruddin Shah believes that unless the farmers’ movement in the country is huge and aggressive, this government will not listen to anyone.
Naseeruddin further said, “If everything is destroyed then you will not hear the noise of your enemies. You will love the silence of your friends more. We cannot say that I do not mind if the farmers are sitting there in the bitter winter. I hope that this demonstration of farmers will spread and the general public will join it. It has to happen. I believe that to remain silent is to favour the victim.”
After this, he claimed, “The lockdown was declared after two to four hours during Covid. Do not know if it was justified or not. Everyone has their own opinion. But it was necessary to disperse the movement of Shaheen Bagh. There was a great trick and that was done. Now that the bird flu has spread, I think it will be very useful for the government to disperse the farmers’ movement.”

Naseeruddin Shah had earlier opposed the action being taken by the UP government against Love Jihad, saying, “Love jihad is going on in UP. One, those who have invented this jumla, they do not know what it means. Secondly, I do not believe that someone would be so stupid that he really felt that one day the number of Muslims in this country will be more than Hindus. For this, at what speed will Muslims have to bear children? I think this is totally fraudulent. Nobody will believe in it. The spectacle of this love jihad has been done only to stop the social interaction of Hindus and Muslims whether you think of marriage at all.”
How Naseeruddin Shah, who describes himself as the protector of freedom of expression, has made lambasting statements against the stars who have voiced for the unity of India, showcases his character. Even after losing his reputation, his place in society and his mental peace, Naseeruddin Shah’s unrestrained babble continues.
He himself is a perpetrator of Love Jihad – let’s ask him why he and all Bollywood celebrities always marry only Hindu woman ? His wife’s name is Ratna Shah. SRK’s wife is Gauri. Aamir’s wife is also a Hindu. Take any bollywood actor – they would always marry a Hindu woman. Why is that ?

It is not enough to write a general article of this type. Some one must write an article demolishing each of his statements with facts. For example ” —to stop the social interaction of Hindus and Muslims—-“. If all the reports in TFIPost, Hindu Post , OpIndia etc. are correct it should be pointed out to him with the evidence that this socialising is a one way street with M boys and H girls. M girls are prohibited from socialising with H boys by dress restrictions (full covering), fatwas, execution of H boys who love M girls ( a good deterrence), and other types of intimidation. Statistical evidence should be provided for all rebuttals and NS should be challenged to respond.
