2020 was to be the year when Indian Punjab would be ‘liberated’ as a consequence of ‘Referendum 2020’, which the infamous terror outfit ‘Sikhs for Justice’ had espoused to organise throughout the world, particularly in India. The Pakistan-backed and ISI-funded organisation was in for a big, but a natural shock when consistent efforts by it to gather votes for the ‘referendum’ saw no audience, rendering the entire campaign a virtual dud within India. As 2020 approaches its end, it seems Sikhs for Justice (SFJ) and other Khalistan organisations are making a final-attempt to gather some face-saving support for their ‘Referendum 2020’.
In September this year, shortly after the three revolutionary farm laws were passed by India’s parliament, SFJ had declared a grant of $1 million for farmers in Punjab and Haryana in lieu of their support for Khalistan.“From October 1 to October 8, any farmer — irrespective of his faith — can register 25 votes for the Khalistan Referendum 2020 and get a grant of Rs 5,000 as assistance to repay their agricultural loans,” SFJ said. Essentially, SFJ was trying to bribe the farmers of India to vote in favour of the referendum in order to avail the Rs. 5,000 ‘assistance’.
Earlier too, the unlawful outfit had tried to bribe the farmers of Punjab by offering Rs 3,500 to each of them as a ‘grant’, ahead of Referendum 2020. The group had announced that it would be providing money on a monthly basis to farmers who could not pay their loans. It would not come as a surprise, therefore, if it were to be revealed in the near future that the ongoing farmers’ protest is being organised at the behest of certain lobbies and organisations whose ultimate aim is to have Referendum 2020 fructified in India.
In any case, support for the farmers’ protest is originating mainly from countries like the U.S, UK and Canada, where diaspora Sikhs who are mostly in favour of the hilarious concept of Khalistan are rallying and conducting marches in support of their ‘farmer’ brother and sisters camping at the borders of Delhi. Further, the Punjabi music industry is working overtime to gather support for the farmers’ blockade. Already, the allegiances of Punjabi singers and musicians lies with anybody but with India.
Whether there is some sort of a foreign organised effort which is behind such protests is yet to be ascertained. The theory definitely merits an investigation. That a massive blockade by the farmers of Punjab and Haryana is being held at the borders of Delhi towards the end of 2020, over a non-issue no less cannot be an entirely natural coincidence. Whether the failure of Referendum 2020 within India has a role to play in such protests must definitely be probed.

Earlier, TFI had reported that the Amit Shah-led Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA), in view of reports received from the Punjab Police and state and central intelligence agencies, was set to launch a massive crackdown against Khalistanis across India. The Home Ministry is said to have initiated a massive probe into the alleged foreign funding of pro-Khalistan outfits and their sympathisers and various NGOs linked to them. Various central agencies like the CBI, ED, NIA, FIU and Income Tax Department are poised to be a part of the massive crackdown on the NGO’s, Khalistani outfits, and their foreign paymasters.
