Asaduddin Owaisi, AIMIM supremo and Lok Sabha MP from Hyderabad has taken to Twitter to fearmonger the Muslim community of India, against the supposed ‘violent campaign’ which the Sangh parivaar is about to initiate in order to reclaim the Shri Krishna Janmbhoomi at Mathura in its entirety. Owaisi was seen panicking after a Mathura court admitted a plea seeking the removal of the Shahi Idgah Mosque from the premises of Shri Krishna Janmbhoomi. Interestingly, according to the AIMIM Chief’s figment of imagination, the Congress will also be joining the Sangh Parivaar in the alleged violent campaign to reclaim the temple land, which Owaisi somehow seems to be privy to.
Asaduddin Owaisi said that the Babri Masjid-Ram Janmbhoomi verdict has strengthened the resolve of the ‘Sangh Parivaar’. “What was feared has come true. The verdict related to the Babari Masjid has strengthened the resolve of the ‘Sangh Parivaar’. Remember, if we still don’t wake up, the Sangh may start another violent campaign on this and Congress will also join the campaign,” Owaisi tweeted in Hindi. At the heart of Owaisi’s assertions regarding the RSS’ covert involvement in the rekindling of the Shri Krishna Janmbhoomi dispute is a flimsy and sorry excuse of an article published by the Hindu, written by A G Noorani, which insinuates to the same effect.

A Mathura district court on Friday admitted a plea seeking to remove the 17th-century mosque situated adjacent to Krishna Janmabhoomi in the city. The court of district judge Sadhna Rani Thakur, while accepting the appeal, has slated the next hearing on the matter for November 18, for which notices have been sent to the opposing sides. The defendants in the case are said to be the Uttar Pradesh Sunni Central Waqf Board, the Shahi Masjid Idgah Trust, the Shri Krishna Janambhoomi Trust and Shri Krishna Janmasthan Seva Sansthan.
A similar plea was earlier dismissed by a Mathura civil court on 2nd October on grounds of it not being admissible due to the Places of Worship Act, 1990, enacted by the PV Narasimha Rao government to disallow Hindus from seeking judicial remedy in such cases. The petitioners appealed in the district court on October 12 terming the earlier order “erroneous and against facts”. After summoning records of the lower court, the district court admitted the appeal on Friday, in what is being termed a major step towards Hindus reclaiming the Shri Krishna Janmbhoomi at Mathura in its entirety.
Asaduddin Owaisi is panicking for reasons best known to him, but a primary cause of concern for him could be the illegality of certain structures which were constructed by Mughal marauders by razing Hindu temples and occupying their land. Being the learned man that Owaisi is, it would not be an overstatement to say that if the judicial fight is fought by Hindus for reclaiming their temples, the AIMIM Chief very well knows what the outcome would be.
