As the screw tightens on the World Health Organisation and its director general Dr Tedros, the WHO and China have teamed up to belittle and attack Taiwan. The WHO and China have shed off their marks and are now openly ganging up to muzzle Taiwan’s voice. After Dr Tedros chose to slam Taiwan by playing the victim card, now its China’s turn to hit out at Taiwan for “venomously” attacking the WHO.
After coming under heavy fire from the US President Donald Trump, Dr Tedros chose to pontificate and resorted to playing the victim card. Dr Tedros instead of lauding Taiwan for perhaps being the only country yet to have successfully won the battle against the Wuhan virus, has instead slammed the country for targeting him,
“I can tell you personal attacks that have been going on for more than two, three months. Abuses, or racist comments, giving me names, black or Negro. I’m proud of being black, proud of being Negro. I don’t care, to be honest … even death threats. I don’t give a damn.” He further added, “Three months ago, this attack came from Taiwan. We need to be honest. I will be straight today. From Taiwan,” he said. “And Taiwan, the Foreign Ministry also, they know the campaign. They didn’t disassociate themselves. They even started criticizing me in the middle of all that insult and slur, but I didn’t care.”
Dr Tedros has asserted that Taiwan is responsible for the “racist slurs” against him which has prompted an angry reaction from Taiwan as they have asked for an apology from Dr Tedros for such baseless claims.
Now the Chinese Communist Party has scrambled its resources to protect its lackey, Dr Tedros. China has accused Taiwan of “venomously” attacking the WHO. China’s Taiwan Affairs Office has now taken aim at Taiwan’s ruling party, Democratic Progressive Party (DPP) – a known China baiter.
“The DPP authorities are unscrupulously using the virus to seek independence, venomously attacking the WHO and its responsible people, conniving with the green internet army to wantonly spread racist comments. We strongly condemn this,” said the country’s Taiwan Affairs Office.
The CCP liked to live in an alternate universe as it continues to claim that Taiwan is a part of China where in reality, Taiwan has been an independent nation which has been running its own governments since 1949. China is desperately trying to bring back Taiwan to its fold and won’t hesitate to apply force if needed. While the WHO considers Taiwan to be a part of China, the former in the wake of the Wuhan virus is now rapidly gaining legitimacy much to the XI Jinping’s displeasure.
Laughably, the paranoid Chinese Communist Party started an influx of Twitter users allegedly from Taiwan apologising to Dr Tedros for the “racist slurs”. Apart from Xi Jinping, no one for even a moment would have believed that these were genuine users as Twitter is overflowing with Chinese bots who sing praises for Xi Jinping. The CCP has to rely on bots as no sane person can ever support the actions of Xi Jinping.
“There is a concern it is a deliberate operation by overseas forces. Falsely claiming to be Taiwanese and openly admitting to racist attacks on WHO Director General Tedros and begging forgiveness seriously damages our country’s international reputation,” said Taiwan’s Justice ministry.
China’s massive PR exercise has continued to backfire as now some Twitter users have begun using the hashtag ‘#ThisAttackComesFromTaiwan’ to showcase how the country is helping during these difficult times and also make a note of all the positive things to come out of the island country, including its democratic system and being the first place in Asia to legalise same-sex marriage.
Taiwan’s Foreign ministry started it and what followed was a tight slap on the faces of Dr Tedros and Xi Jinping as they attempt to muzzle the island country’ voice.

The hashtag — #ThisAttackComesFromTaiwan — being used in response to the WHO director general's accusation of racist attacks from Taiwan — is an amazing way of turning to the positive. The photos people have been posting of the food… gah! 😋😆

Look how the Taiwanese turned the negative trend to a positive one by posting about the beauty of their beloved country.
Taiwan claims that China continues to apply military pressure during the virus crisis as last week Chinese H-6 bombers and J-11 fighters again carried out drills near Taiwan, above waters to its southwest. However, with the TAIPEI Act, the US President is required to provide weapons to Taiwan that mitigate the looming Chinese military threat, much to the ire of China.
Taiwan continues to be diplomatically isolated as only a handful and non-significant countries recognise the nation’s independence. However with the TAIPEI Act, the USA is all set to help Taiwan gain diplomatic importance.
There is no doubt that Taiwan will emerge as much more stronger and a legitimate nation after the pandemic is over. It has been right all along in this fight with WHO and China amid the Wuhan virus outbreak turned pandemic, and it now has a great chance of being noticed as a far far better country than China, a far more positive presence in the world – liberal, democratic and responsible which will also strengthen Taiwan’s case of getting recognition as a country.
Bless you Taiwan
We’ll bring down China
