The total number of Wuhan virus cases across the world has crossed the two million mark with over 178,283 deaths. The virus that originated from Wuhan in the Hubei Province of China has wreaked havoc across the globe and the general consensus is that China is responsible for the world plummeting in total despair. Therefore, the prestigious Magsaysay award winner Ravish Kumar had to come out and defend his and his channel’s lackey China all out. The NDTV journo’s unethical, agenda-based reporting that relies upon sensationalism and malice has once again caused a massive outrage across all channels when his video went viral. He blurted out pearls of wisdom that only he has the talent to deliver.
In his prime time show, Ravish Kumar entirely played down the role of China and Tablighi Jamaat in the spreading of the virus. Funnily enough, he dubbed the role of China in the Wuhan virus pandemic as merely a conspiracy theory. “To shroud the responsibility and accountability of government, the theory of China (being the super-spreader of the virus) has been put forward” the journalist was heard saying.
Ravish Kumar should hv mentioned that today's prime time was sponsored by China.

Twitter had a field day taking Ravish to the cleaners for his blasphemous statements. The Gauri Lankesh award winner went all in support of the communist country of China when he further added, “China is being projected as the new villain”.
The peach of an argument given by Ravish was that the countries (the emphasis being on India) across the world were sleeping in January, February, and March whilst the virus spread.
While giving his absurd statement, Ravish forgot that it was China that had emerged as the epicenter of the virus in the first place. Beijing hid the information of the first Wuhan virus case–which for starters was detected as early as on November 17, 2019 and informed the World Health Organization (WHO) only on December 31, 2019. The Chinese citizens were informed even later on January 20, 2020, about a disease that threatened their own survival.
And while WHO was informed in December it colluded with China and further delayed informing the world about the right facts about the deadly respiratory virus.
On January 14, the WHO came up with the now-infamous tweet where it stated that there was “no clear evidence” that the coronavirus could spread between people. Despite the mounting evidence from Taiwan and several other countries, WHO sided with China’s lobby and kept the entire world in dark. Conveniently, Mr. Ravish did not bother criticizing WHO or for that matter China.

China initially floated a conspiracy theory that it was the US military who brought the deadly virus to Wuhan which naturally had no takers except for the lackeys of Xi Jinping.
Recently, the world is giving serious consideration to the theory that the virus originated in the Wuhan Institute of Virology(WIV) — the largest virus bank in Asia which preserves more than 1,500 strains and is situated just 8 miles away from the Huanan wet market.
The first Wuhan virus case was detected in India on January 30, the flights from China were closed in February and when India was one of the first country to ban the international travel–the WHO criticized India for taking the drastic step, which now in hindsight has proved to be effective.
By March, India and its 1.3 billion population had gone into a nationwide lockdown. Yet Mr. Ravish had the audacity to bat for China.
“Sometimes the enemy is China and the other time it is Tablighi Jamaat” said Ravish Kumar, giving the free-pass to the Islamic organisation to walk out scot-free. TFI has extensively covered the dent the Tablighi Jammat fiasco has put in India’s flattening the curve measures. This single orthodox Islamic organisation is responsible for creating numerous Wuhan virus clusters across Asia.
More than 2,258 people who attended the Tablighi Jamaat event in Lahore, Pakistan have been tested positive so far. The Jamaat gathering is still the source of the biggest cluster in Malaysia, with 1,946 confirmed cases out of the country’s total 5,425 infections. Singapore and Brunei subsequently reported cases that could be traced back to the Malaysia gathering.
And the case of India is well known where the fateful Nizamuddin Markaz event in Delhi held in mid-March has so far been linked to over 4,300 infections directly.
Therefore the less said about the Ravish defending Tablighi Jamaat and the mess it has left behind, the better.
A little due diligence on the part of NDTV’s team behind Ravish’s preposterous monologue could have gone a long way in presenting a senile argument. Ravish was on a hit-job mission with half-cooked arguments smeared with the existential purpose of taking it out at the government.
This is not the first time that the champion of liberals Ravish Kumar has peddled his twisted agenda. During the North-East Delhi riots he had dubbed one pistol-wielding Shahrukh as Anurag Mishra and despite being proven wrong continued pushing his lies.
With his new retort, he has succumbed to a new low, even by his standards. But we are an optimistic bunch here and hope that sense prevails in Ravish and his NDTV camp, sooner than later.
