The deadliest crossover is here as the infectious Coronavirus hits a toxic Shaheen Bagh

The fears of Coronavirus hitting the anti-CAA protests have come true with reports of one Shaheen Bagh protester getting infected with the Wuhan virus. Meanwhile, Times Now has also reported that two protesters at the Jahangirpuri anti-CAA agitation have also got infected with COVID-19.

Only last month the Shaheen Bagh protests were ripe with the Delhi riots that claimed more than 50 lives and now the protests are ripe with the Coronavirus. As if Shaheen Bagh agitation was already not reckless and damaging enough, it has now been further infected with a novel virus that is nearly as deadly as the incendiary and divisive remarks that have been made at the protest site over the past three months. Ever since it started in December, the hate-filled Shaheen Bagh blockade has managed to (indirectly but undeniably) land a bullet in Delhi Police Constable Ratan Lal’s chest, multiple stabs in IB staffer Ankit Sharma’s body and murder two infants.

Now, imagine all hell breaking loose with a Shaheen Bagh protest catching Coronavirus, as the virus will spread like a wildfire- nearly matching up to the pace at which the Shaheen Bagh organisers like Sharjeel Imam spread bigotry and spewed venom. Fidayeen mentality is already visible at Shaheen Bagh with protesters making it clear that they will persist with the hateful agitation even on March 22 when the entire nation will be observing the Janata Curfew to plug the spread of the Wuhan virus.

It is due to this fidayeen mentality that a woman protester at Shaheen Bagh said, “Yaha corona Nahi hai. Hum logon ko pata hai. Unhe corona se darr hoga. Corona hamare Quran se nikla hai. Corona kya hai? Isse bhayanak bhayanak bimari aaegi. Aur uparwale ne chaha hume kuch nahin hoga vo dare. Hum log darne wale nahin hai.”

Meanwhile, the Shaheen Bagh protesters have announced a slew of measures- all of them extremely innovative and literally unprecedented in this planet’s fight against the novel Coronavirus. They have decided to limit the number of protesters to 50, seemingly affected by the absurd logic that the Coronavirus won’t infect them unless there are at least 51 protesters agitating together. Likewise, a four-hour cap has been imposed, for the Shaheen Bagh protesters have discovered that human-to-human transmission of the novel Wuhan virus sets in only after four hours of robust socialising. Maybe, a lot many lives could have been saved around the world had this absolute marvel in protest-public administration had been seen earlier. Moreover, they have also decided that children below 10 years of age will be finally sparred, along with the dadis above 70 years of age- three months after they were forced to sit at the agitation that also led to the death of two infants.

Moreover, mics have been removed from the Shaheen Bagh agitation, and it seems like that of all the scientists across the globe, it took the Shaheen Bagh organisers to discover that the Wuhan virus spreads through speeches on amplifiers. But this is just the tip of the iceberg, individual protesters have made even better plans. One of the protesters said, “Washing hands regularly is part of our lifestyle. We offer namaz five times a day and we wash our hands every time.”

At the time of writing this story, around 2,97,450 people were already infected with the Coronavirus worldwide, and this includes people like Canadian Prime Minister’s wife Sophie Trudeau and several Ministers across the world- people who would have been washing their hands frequently in all certainty. How did they catch the Coronavirus then? It seems they missed the all-important protest that Shaheen Bagh protesters won’t.

However, while a lot was said about not following the Janata Curfew which was called for by PM Modi, after the case of one Coronavirus infection at the protest site, only five protesters have apparently turned up today morning, but considering the derangement of its organisers, the number could still go up.

With the reports of Coronavirus infection hitting Shaheen Bagh and the indoctrinated, radicalised minds refusing to budge, it seems that Delhi is in for some trouble. In view of the very high probability of asymptomatic patients passing on the virus and the absolutely brilliant ideas of the organisers to check COVID-19 which will eventually fail, the Delhi Police should brace for an uphill task- handling Coronavirus afflicted radical mobs that can easily turn India’s National Capital into another Wuhan.
