The Wuhan Virus cases have been rising at an exponential speed around the world. The number of cases is tipped to reach the 7,00,000 mark. The last one lakh cases would have come in under a day if this mark is breached today. It all started with China and its haphazard management of the cases and blatant lying to the world. After claiming that the cases in the country have been brought down to zero, excluding imported cases, China is now trying to control the narrative with its diplomatic offensive charm by aiding the countries in duress. The numbers regarding COVID-19 cases have grim clouds of unreliability around them.
It was earlier reported that the number of deaths may be in excess of 40,000 and now the Chinese government is going all out to cull the suspicions by banning public mourning of the dead.
Now reports have emerged that families will not be allowed to mourn the dead in the public in an elaborate attempt by the Communist regime to keep the number of deaths under the blanket.
Wuhan’s government issued a statement on Thursday prohibiting individuals in the city from tomb-sweeping activities until April 30, meaning they would not be able to observe the traditional April 4 Ching Ming Festival, or tomb-sweeping holiday. Other provinces including Guangxi and Zhejiang have also announced similar restrictions.
Ching Ming Festival is a traditional Chinese festival observed by the Han Chinese of Mainland China, Taiwan, Hong Kong, Macau and several other countries. During the festival, Chinese families visit the tombs of their ancestors to clean the gravesites, pray to their ancestors, and make ritual offerings. The holiday recognizes the traditional reverence of one’s ancestors in Chinese culture.
The Chinese investigative media outlet named Caixin has reported that after the mortuaries in Hubei- the capital of Wuhan- was opened, people had to wait for hours to collect remains of their loved ones. As per the report by the investigative media outlet, “Wuhan has seven other mortuaries. If they are all sticking to the same schedule, this adds up to more than 40,000 urns being distributed in the city over the next 10 days.”
Two locals in Wuhan who have lost family members to the virus said online that they were informed they had to be accompanied by their employers or officials from neighborhood committees when picking up the urns, likely as a measure against public gatherings.
“I was told by district government to wait until further notice on when I can pick up my father’s ashes,” one Wuhan resident using the name “Xue Zai Shou Zhong,” meaning “snow in hand,” posted on Weibo. “There is a staggered arrangement for urn collecting.”
Another Weibo user using the handle Adagier said she lost her husband to the coronavirus and had since been contacted by police warning her not to be too emotional — and to stop posting online. “I have only one demand,” she wrote. “I want to give my husband a proper burial as soon as possible.”
According to Chinese government figures, 2,535 people in Wuhan have died of the virus. But the trend around the world has been starkly different. Italy and Spain have already crossed the death toll numbers of China. USA has overtaken China in the total number of cases. And when questions were raised on the Xi Jinping government’s data, journalists from American media houses like the New York Times, Wall Street Journal and Washington Post were fired instantly. After that, Tencent mistakenly reported the correct figures and threw all Chinese government efforts under the bus.
China in recent times has occupied all the top-tier positions in international bodies and has been using it to shift the blame from itself for bringing doom upon billions on the planet. WHO has been incessant in supporting the Beijing narrative with Jinping’s puppet, the Director-General of WHO Dr. Tedros leaving no stones unturned to shield China from the world government’s wrath. The number of urns and the delay in delivering them inevitably makes us believe that the Chinese have something far more sinister going around. The numbers have been fudged colossally and the quashing of mourning activities further cements the fact. Chinese are pulling off another Chernobyl if they are keeping the world in dark and surely the history would not be any kinder to them.
