The left-liberals have been shedding crocodile tears over the Modi government’s refusal to allow illegal Rohingya migrants into India. Despite the fact that the Rohingyas are a major security threat to the country, heads of state like Mamata Banerjee continue to provide tacit support to the Rohingyas in order to preach minority politics. In a concerning development, Indian Intelligence agencies have revealed that Pakistan is funding Jamaat-ul-Mujahideen Bangladesh and Rohingyas for terror strikes in India.
According to Indian intelligence agencies, Pakistan’s notorious Inter-Services Intelligence (ISI) is training a group of Rohingyas in Bangladesh to carry out terror strikes in India.
According to the report, the ISI has recruited at least 40 Rohingyas staying in Bangladesh’s Cox Bazar for its nefarious mission. The training is being imparted by JMB, which is the most deadly terror group in Bangladesh. It is believed that ISI has received funds from groups in Saudi Arabia, Malaysia, the United Kingdom and Pakistan for the training. The Pakistani intelligence agency has already given Rs 1 crore to JMB as part of the first tranche.
Recently, a 22-year-old suspected JMB terrorist was arrested in West Bengal, which shares a large and porous border with Bangladesh, by the NIA in connection with a terror module in Bengaluru. The suspected terrorists identified as Mosaraf Hossain alias Moosa is reportedly involved in a terror module. The module was busted in Bengaluru in May 2019 after a large quantity of arms and ammunition including hand grenades and circuits of improvised explosive devices (IEDs) were recovered from a house, which was allegedly rented by JMB terrorists, in Bengaluru’s Chikkabanavara in July 2019.
JMB who has been actively involved in pushing fake Indian currency through the international border in West Bengal and Assam has been trying to wreak havoc in India. In October last year, Director General of National Investigation Agency (NIA) YC Modi stated that the anti-probe terror agency had shared a list of 125 suspects from different states. He added that the JMB has spread its activities in states like Jharkhand, Tamil Nadu, Maharashtra, Karnataka, Kerala and Bihar in the guise of Bangladeshi immigrants. The JMB even conducted a trial of rocket launchers in the Krishnagiri hills along the Karnataka border. According to Inspector General (IG) of the NIA Alok Mittal said, “The JMB was keen to attack Buddhists temples to take revenge for the plight of Rohingya Muslims in Myanmar.”
Bangladesh Prime Minister, Sheikh Hasina has also highlighted the threat posed by the Rohingya Muslims. She said that the 10 Lakh Rohingyas who fled from Myanmar to her country following “persecution” are “threat to the security” of the entire region. She also urged the global community to resolve the issue. She made this remark while addressing a three-day event, ‘Dhaka Global Dialogue-2019’. She said, “In terms of regional security, I would like to say that more than 1.1 million Rohingya citizens of Myanmar fled to Bangladesh in the face of persecution and they are a threat to the security not only for Bangladesh but also for the region.” What the Bangladesh PM has stated about the Rohingya immigrants is not without substance. The terror outfit of the Rohingya Muslims, Aqa Mul Mujahideen, reportedly has links with Pakistan’s intelligence agency, the ISI and Pakistan-sponsored terror outfits, Jaish-e-Mohammed (JeM) and Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT). In fact, on June 1 2017, Hafiz Saeed had urged the Rohingya Muslims to join his jihad movement to wage war against India for supporting Myanmar’s stand on Rohingya issue.
Pakistan is relentlessly trying to spread terror in India and is now using the Rohingya Muslims to fulfill their nefarious agenda. At such a precarious time, it’s paramount that the Modi government deals with the Rohingya issue with an iron hand.
