Priyanka Gandhi Vadra was in Uttar Pradesh yesterday and decided to haphazardly reschedule her predetermined itinerary, in order to console the family of one SR Darapuri, a former IPS officer who was arrested during the anti-CAA protests.
This random and unexpected decision sent the police in a tizzy, and one policewoman, Archana Singh was manhandled by Congress goons when she went up to Vadra to enquire as to where she was headed. “I wanted to enquire where she wants to go so that security arrangements can be made accordingly. She is under categorized protection and it’s not safe for her to move as such. However, party workers refused to tell anything and Priyanka Gandhi stepped out of the car and started walking,” she said.
This was enough for Priyanaka Vadra to lie through her teeth. “UP police stopped me while I was going to meet the family of Darapuriji. A policewoman strangulated and manhandled me. They surrounded me while I was going on a party worker’s two-wheeler, after which I walked to reach there,” said Priyanka Gandhi. When users on social media refused to oblige to the bunch of lies being spread by her, the Congress released a video footage and claimed it to be evidence that Vadra was manhandled and strangulated by the police, as a result of which she fell to the ground. In fact, the policewoman who supposedly ‘strangulated’ Priyanka was the fleet-in-charge of her convoy.

Coming to the footage released by the Congress as evidence to the ‘strangulation’ of Vadra, at no moment is the ‘victim’ of ‘brute police force’ seen being manhandled and strangulated, leave alone having a fall. The policewoman, accompanied by her colleagues merely attempts to stop Priyanka and enquire about her intentions. However, being a Gandhi, Priyanka refuses to acknowledge Archana Singh’s presence and shamelessly continues to walk. Meanwhile, her supporters are also seen intimidating the police force. The same video has been shared by many Congress loyalists as irrefutable proof of police high handedness, however, it is more than evident that none of them have seen the video. Even if they have, they perhaps consider the people of India foolish to the extent that nobody would care to actually watch the video and would merely accept the lies being peddled by Priyanka Vadra and the Congress.

Twitter, meanwhile, has erupted in support of Archana Singh, the policewoman whose professionalism was brought under question by the Congress. #IStandWithArchanaSingh is currently a top trend.
It must be remembered that about a month ago, Priyanka Vadra had staged quite an act at her residence after the Modi government decided to withdraw SPG protection to the Gandhi clan. A car with five people made its way into her residence, her office had then stated. The said group was able to click pictures and ‘selfies’ with Priyanka Vadra. It was later exposed that the said group of people were all small time Congress workers. This was spun as a ‘security breach’ of Vadra’s residence by the Congress.
Priyanka Gandhi Vadra was caught lying then, and she is caught lying now as well. The only fall which Priyanka Vadra seems to have had is one from grace.
