Recently social media was taken by storm when a popular social media portal was found displaying Hinduphobia through its Instagram posts. A Twitter user, who goes by the name LolmLol, shared the following thread –

In his thread, he mentioned about a website named “Filmygyan”, known for sharing tidbits about whatever is happening in Bollywood. Sharing a few of their Instagram posts, the Twitter user exposed the rabid Hinduphobia these people exhibit towards any kind of Hindu festival, as shown below –

Along with the Hindu bashing, the Twitter user also showed how Filmygyan, which has no shame in insulting the Hindu festivals in such a deplorable way, was also glorifying Islamic festivals, revealing the hypocrisy of the people who administer the site.
Inspired by the revelations of the Twitter user LolmLol, another Twitter handle, who goes by the name ‘History of India’, revealed as to how the administrator of the site, Aftab Khan, who has some 2.27 Lakh followers on Instagram, has been accused of exhibiting such Hinduphobia in the past as well.
The handle posted a previous pic of his from Instagram, where he was seen supporting the placard gang which had left no stone unturned in defaming the entire Sanatan Dharm for the Kathua rape case –

Though despicable and atrocious to say the least, this is not the first occasion of social media portals using derogatory posts to insult Sanatan Dharma and / or its rituals. A Facebook page, titled ‘Humans of Hindutva’, which claims to be anti-Modi, is also accused of spreading anti Sanatani posts, as shown below –

This is not all, another site, ‘Feminism in India’, has issues in women being taught self-defence by organizations devoted to the cause of Sanatan Dharma. However, they have no qualms in glorifying regressive Islamic practices like wearing the burqa or hijab, as shown below –

From backing shows with vitriolic content like ‘Sacred Games’ and ‘Leila’, the left-liberal intelligentsia choose to back shady portals that serve their agenda well.
It’s just not limited to exhibiting Hinduphobia; as seen in the case of the Rafale controversy, where Congress was seen peddling fake news about the Rafale deal from a shady portal called “Indiascoops”, which previously was known as the fan page of Bigg Boss contestant Arshi Khan.
It comes as no surprise if another shady portal like “Filmygyan” is promoted indirectly by the left-liberals, to peddle their vicious propaganda against the Sanatan Dharma. The question that remains is: For How Long?
