“Narendra Modi has buried Nehru’s India,” Qureshi said at a press conference after chairing a committee meeting over Kashmir after India moved to abrogate provisions of Article 370 and bifurcate the state into two union territories. Shah Mahmood Qureshi also added that the Indian policy revolves around “Doval doctrine”.
These comment coming from a Pakistani minister is sure indication of the desperation lurking in Pakistani establishment to save face in front of Pakistani population. The comment of Shah Mahmood Qureshi shows the impact Prime Minister Narendra Modi has had on Pakistan and its policy of exporting terrorism over the past few years and now Pakistan has resorted to remember leaders like Jawaharlal Nehru who had dealt with Pakistan in a passive and non-effective way.
