The Dravidian outfits are habitual in ridiculing Hindu deities and Hindu religious rituals in the name of rationality. Dravidian Rationalists hardly criticize other religions as their main target seems to be the “non-violent” Hindu community.
Veeramani, the leader of the Dravida Kazhagam, has abused Bhagwan Krishna a few days back. The video of Veeramani’s talk that was uploaded on Marc0h 22 on a youtube channel called Kulukkai has sparked a controversy. By Comparing Krishna Bhagavan with Pollachi sexual incidents, K Veeramani has hurt the millions of Hindus across the globe. Thousands of Hindus registered their condemnation in social media by sharing the video in which Veeramani has abused Lord Krishna.

Twitterati Ethirajan tweeted that Veeramani should be sued for hurting the Hindus. “If there’s anyone to be booked for eve-teasing, it should be Lord Krishna first, who was a forerunner to Pollachi rapists. Had he access to Pollachi sex tapes, he would have screened them all to Devas. This scum Veeramani should be booked for hurting majority Hindu sentiments”, he tweeted.

While another Twitterati posted the video and said that “Hope they are answered well in the elections”, many others claimed that Hindus should not vote for Congress-DMK and its alliances.

As the video was widely circulated on WhatsApp, it drew the attention of a large number of Hindus. Dr. M.A. VenkataKrishnan Swamy has given a proper rebuttal to K Veeramani. Pointing out to the blabbering of Dravida Kazhagam’s leader, he questioned, “Whether the Dravida Kazhagam accepts the character of Bhagawan Krishna? People who kept talking that there were no such characters(Lord Krishna) and Puranas were fake seemed to have accepted the Puranas now. So, it conveys that they have accepted Lord Krishna and Devas as well. Since they have accepted the God now, it is clear that they talk nothing but blabbering.”
While reminding about E.V. Ramaswamy’s derogatory comments about womanhood and marriage relationships, Dr. MAV Swamy added, “Pollachi rapists should have followed EVR and definitely not Lord Krishna”. The rebuttal video from Dr. MAV Swamy is also getting circulated on social media.
Reacting to this, Hindu Munnani has filed a police complaint.

Hindu Munnani has filed a police complaint in Thoothukudi police station to arrest the leader of the Dravida Kazhagam against his derogatory remarks that have hurt the people of Hindu Community. Earlier this month, DMK leader MK Stalin’s sister and DMK’s contestant for Thoothukudi constituency, Kanimozhi has got blessings from the Dravida Kazhagam’s leader, Veeramani.

While the 2019 general elections are not so far, the Hindu hatred that is being spread by the DMK backed Dravida Kazhagam has created a wide wave of anger among the people of Hindu community in Tamilnadu. Political cadres believe that this election will see a rise of Hindutvam vote bank in Tamilnadu against the DMK – Congress and its allies.
