The cowardly attack on the CRPF convoy at Awantipora in Pulwama, Jammu & Kashmir & Ladakh has shell shocked the nation. While some are mourning for the martyrs, others are trying to help their aggrieved families in every way possible. The entire nation is united and unanimously demands strong and effective retribution against the Islamic terrorists who executed this attack from Pakistan and are currently hiding.
However, there are some people for whom these attacks are nothing but another opportunity to peddle their vicious propaganda. Setting new benchmarks for their hypocrisy, Congress once again politicized the Pulwama attacks, as they attempted to whitewash the suicide bomber, Adil Ahmed Dar as ‘a homegrown terrorist’, while attacking the BJP led NDA government for the Pulwama attacks.
To quote Randeep Surjewala’s press brief, “Questions must be asked as to who provided the kilograms of RDX and MI4 carbines, rocket launchers to the homegrown so called terrorists. Questions must be asked as to how an RDX laden vehicle came on to the sensitive national highway when there is a standard protocol in place. Questions must be asked as to how a security and intelligence failure happened where a clear-cut warning was ignored. Questions must be asked as why airlifting of the troops was not allowed when for one week they were stranded there. It is actually nationalistic these questions.”
Rahul Gandhi echoed the sentiments of Randeep Surjewala as he posted the following tweet:-

Wait, isn’t this exactly the propaganda Pakistan has been peddling ever since these attacks happened? Has Congress no regard for national security and the mood of the masses? What will they achieve by exonerating Pakistan from the blame of executing these attacks against India? The answers to these questions were given by the following news:

According to this tweet, the Congress President has roped in the retired Lt. General Deependra S. Hooda, the Northern Army Commander during the Uri attacks of 2016. He will not only help the opposition in preparing a vision paper for national security, but will also lead the ‘Task Force’ for the same. Isn’t something fishy?
Lt. Gen. D S Hooda is the same guy who according to the left liberal media, had reported that the surgical strikes were ‘over hyped’ by the NDA government. Interestingly, he also said that the attack on Pulwama may be an insider’s job, as ‘it is impossible to infiltrate such large amounts of explosives from across the border.’ This only proves how low the Congress can stoop just in order to capture power for themselves.
Long story short, Lt. Gen. D S Hooda was suggesting that the NDA government may have staged the attacks for their own interests. Is there no limit to such absurd propaganda? Interestingly, the Pakistani news portal , DAWN, not only wrote about the same, but also seemed appreciative about Lt. Gen. Hooda’s comments on the Pulwama attack. If this is the way the Congress is thinking of contesting the 2019 elections, God help this country.
