The much-awaited movie ‘Uri: The Surgical Strike’ has now taken the nation by storm. Having hit the theaters on January 11, the movie has now attained the status of a certified blockbuster and is on its way to earn a whopping Rs. 200 crores worldwide. Despite the vicious left liberal propaganda peddled against the same, ‘Uri: The Surgical Strike’ has continued unfazed, with packed houses in most of the shows all over India ever after the 3rd week of its release.
Hardly had the buzz of the overenthusiastic response to Vicky Kaushal’s ‘How’s the Josh’ dialogue at the Attari Wagah Border on the occasion of Republic Day settled, when Defence Minister Nirmala Sitharaman, who recently watched the movie along with some veteran soldiers, created a buzz all over the Internet with her warm response towards the same.
In a long but interesting thread, Defence Minister Nirmala Sitharaman posted her experience of watching the movie along with many veteran soldiers, as follows:-
Live from Central Spirit Mall, Bellandur, Bengaluru, to watch Uri (finally) with veterans. #HighJosh! 🙂

Not only did she enjoy the enthusiasm of the crowd, but also she was thoroughly impressed with the movie. She also joined the crowd in chanting the now extremely popular slogan, as shown below:-
Live from Central Spirit Mall, Bellandur, Bengaluru, to watch Uri (finally) with veterans. #HighJosh! 🙂

The warm response to the brilliant movie, that too from one of the most powerful members of the central government, was music to many ears. The tweets went viral in no time, and even the crew of the movie thanked her for kind gesture:-
Thank You so much Ma’m. 😊🙏 https://t.co/lwwzPC8NzC

Huge thanks ma’am and coming from you propel our #highjosh to a greater heights! @nsitharaman ji https://t.co/BbredXnis5

This is not completely surprising since Nirmala Sitharaman had earlier promised the crew that she would watch the movie whenever she gets the time. She had also appreciated the crew for their efforts when they met her earlier on the occasion of Army Day, along with the NSA Shri Ajit Doval, Chief of Army Staff General Bipin Rawat, President Shri Ramnath Kovind etc.
At COAS Bipin Rawat’s #ArmyDay “at home”, with the team of the film #URITheSurgicalStrike. Yet to watch it, but hearing many good things. Kudos, @RonnieScrewvala @AdityaDharFilms @vickykaushal09 @yamigautam for a slick war movie on the spirit of our heroes!#howsthejosh? :) pic.twitter.com/9dvAiQsJNF

Moreover, Nirmala Sitharaman is not the only one who is impressed by this film. Even PM Narendra Modi, who had watched this movie earlier, sent his regards to the team, thoroughly impressed by the movie. As if this wasn’t enough, he also enthralled the audience at the inauguration of National Museum of Indian Cinema, beginning his speech with the iconic question, ‘How’s the Josh?’
This warm response is another feather in the cap of Aditya Dhar, whose project ‘Uri’ has won the hearts of every Indian. Having earned Rs. 150 crores approximately domestically and almost Rs. 200 crores worldwide, the debutant director has proved that he is here to stay. Moreover, with the mind-blowing success of Uri, the masses have also given a living nightmare to the left liberals, who tried every trick up their sleeve to discredit the movie. The JOSH is certainly not going to get low anytime soon.
Looks like patriotism is in the air everywhere. For instance look what Indian patriots in America did to Khalistanis.
